I had a feeling that it was apes. When they are terrifying people in the woods they make every kind of sound possible. Except the sounds of monkeys or apes. Guilty by omission! And monkeys are known to use branches as weapons. Bet apes are even better at it. Tree knocks. Can you just imagine turning a corner and coming upon a wild ape unexpectedly? Yikes. Stay safe all.

Story 4: I don’t really want to see another crawler, either. I heard they may have come to this land with the Anunnaki as a labor force and revolted, so they got together with the Liz folk and crispered up some smaller slaves, human style. Beauty truly is in the eyes of the beholder… I can honestly say I have never thought of the Florida Everglades as beautiful, with no desire to see the Everglades at all!
I feel the same way about the Desert, much less camping in the desert! Nope it looks so barren not to mention the heat. I love being in the Mountains surrounded by beautiful trees, lakes and rivers. I’ll take the Mountains over the others any day!
I hope you taught your Mom to shoot the rifle before leaving. I’m sure you stayed until the side of the house was repaired… teaching your Mom to shoot is very important, in case she has to defend herself.
Maybe you should tell your Mom what it was trying to break in the home… This may help her decide to move into town. She isn’t safe up there alone so far away from help.
