  1. I'm kind of weird…I'm more interested in where the movie was shot than into the movie itself. I've gotten so good at knowing where filming locations are here in LA, I've given some friends visiting from out of town my own private tour. Great job Adam…insightful as always!!!

  4. I climbed the Warner Bros. water tower when I was working there as a fire fighter at the request of the security chief Jack Eggar. Apparently the insurance company needed to know if there was water in it for safety reasons as it was getting rickety and it's old age! It only had about 2 feet of water in it, probably caused from rainwater seeping in. Also stage 16 has a floor that opens up and reveals a huge pool underneath and that is where the pirate ship for the goonies was floated. They use real human skeletons that had been put in with beetles that eat the flesh off of the bones. I gave Robert Redford a ride to the bathroom when he was doing screen test on stage 19 with Jane Seymour for out of Africa. I have a lot more stories I can tell about the Warner Brothers lot.
If you ever get to Burbank you have got to eat at the smokehouse and they aren't kidding the garlic bread is to die for! I finally figured out the recipe for it and I'm glad I did because I no longer live in California.

  5. Really enjoyed this you two. Thank you. Adam, I really appreciate the facts that you included in the tour about the various buildings that the tour guide did not. It's awesome how the sculpture had color in the open eye. I couldn't help but to think he was saying and motioning with his right arm "Move the traffic light, move the traffic light!"
