Things have been pretty hectic in my work & personal life the past 6 months or so and unfortunately haven’t slowed down. So, apologies once again for having a couple of months between our last Warcaster batrep and this one.
I’ve been working on making more steps forward in my production with this video including new custom visual effects, creating faction-specific dice for each army, and more. I’ve also taken to heart comments on previous videos about the audio editing / volume of the vocals vs the volume of the sound effects. Hopefully, I’ve gotten that aspect improved to where it needs to be, but if not, I’m willing to keep working to improve where I can.
Thanks to Tried & True / Delaware Warmachine for gifting a challenge coin to us. We use it as our first player marker. @triedtrue1221
As usual, this batrep features the MK4 measuring / widgets that we bought from Monstrous Makings. https://www.monstrousmakings.co.uk
Scenic Steamroller variant: https://disgruntledwargamer.com/scenic-steamroller/
The Scenic Steamroller variant calls for d3+3 pieces of terrain to be scoring pieces. However, Donna & I found that in smaller point games, that can make scenarios VERY live. We spoke to Thomas & got his blessing to use d3 terrain pieces when playing small games (30 & 50 pt MK4).
Most sound effects and visual effects created by me using Adobe After Effects. Some sound Effects from: Pixabay

It's happening!!!
Fantastic as always! The story runs rich in your batreps.
Although Hakaar has Ghost shield, it wouldn't have been enough to save him from Tarter Sauce's wallop.
Can't wait for the next one!
Maaaan the polish on your videos is so good! It's always a great surprise to see these show up in my feed
My wife said “what are you watching? It sounds legit, like a Ken Burns documentary!”
Nice job as always =)
Huzzah,, who would have thought that the undead would be hard to kill.
The effects are just so wonderful. Thank you, Thank you..
Those dice animations! :O <3 And the bonejack has a chicken sound effect, this battle report is a gift that keeps on giving
Awesome video, beautiful minis, great production value. Keep up the good work.
That said, please please stop boosting attack rolls when you hit on a 6+ (or easier), you should rather invest your resources elsewhere.
Excellent battle report! Love your effects and narrative style ❤️
I love these types of battle reports. I wish you did them more often. Congrats.
Good stuff! I hope you are able to release monthly like you're wanting to. A small mistake I noticed around 31:21 is that the bane warriors were not getting their weapon master dice.
Always a great time watching your Battle Reports. A lot more Lore and Action in your battles than most. Please keep up the good work.
