Synopsis: “Possessed by the daemon Tz’arkan, dark elf Malus Darkblade has a year to recover five items of unimaginable power and restore the daemon to life, or forfeit his soul. As his quest nears its end, Malus is taken captive and ordered by the Witch King, Malekith himself, to defend Naggaroth against a Chaos invasion. As battle rages around him, Malus must find the Amulet of Vaurog and return to Tz’arkan before time runs out and he is damned forever!”

As Lance walk out into opening of the city the sun peeked out starting to show through the clouds he look up to at least enjoy the Sun is it slightly irritated him then he heard laughter in the shadows
Ahh look we got here a vampire you thought you could get rid of us that easy as Draven looked down on Lance
Then essence taker spoke I knew it I knew it then Lance squeeze down on the handle to get essence taker back in line ohh Ahh ok I'll calm down oh my Draven such a handsome man and a dead one pretty soon you can say that again Teresa as the snake like lady with the body of a snake and the hair of serpents was chainmail with a Red silk cloth over the chainmail as she winked and hiss At Lance
Leave me be Vasili's or meet your doom for I've already killed one of you oh that one was a fool for he should have worked with us what he thought he could take you now it's me and Teresa for we will kill you
Then Lance felt the ground pavement move below him as it formed a huge Maw as it closed shut but leaped off the it as the ground pavement exploded
Then Teresa fired her snake like extensions right at Lance as he cut the snakes in mid-air then she slid off the rooftops down onto the pavement
Then Lance pulled out his rotating pistol as snake woman used her tail to flicked it off his hands then Lance pulled out essence taker as she pulled back
Then wall formed from behind him busted him from behind knocking Lance into the pavement as Teresa laugh she launched it Lance with her tail as it hit him in the side of the face send him spinning into the pavement again
As Lance slowly got up he felt drained as the sun was starting to taker essence spoke to him I told you Lance not to be fighting in the Sun but you won't listen to me you fool
Then saw Draven moving through the pavement as Teresa was behind him slowly stalking around him then Lance turned into red mist as Teresa and Draven looked on and confusion
Then they saw the city of Mordheim back to normal then they looked at each other saw their selves normal for they weren't mutants no more they were confused then they thought it was a miracle but it was an illusion as the leeches started slowly making their way toward them as the took the pleasure of the fantasy of the illusion the more leeches came as they hugged each other knowing that they were normal again as leeches slowly climbed
Then they fed on them as they gorge theirselves then Draven and Teresa died in each other's arms as their
bodies laid together as empty husk
Then the red Mist evaporated as Lance reappeared in human form as he collapsed to the ground for the sun really got to him as the clouds close back down on the city it started raining
Now you go back to normal with the clouds what bad timing Lance get up please get up I don't want to be picked up and took somewheres
Then he heard it noise in the background he shutter the idea of someone else being his master then an old woman appeared before she had a eye patched on her Eye a green cloth shirt and baggy red pants with sandals her hair was long and gray and she carried a huge pack on her back
Essence taker Call her over yeah you yes you if you come over here my master will reward you for he is very sick right now
Oh you say he's sick I don't know I haven't seen you before around these parts and how are you able to talk sword are you magical enchanted
Yes old lady for my master is down and can use your help he will reward you if you help him for has great wealth he don't look that wealthy to me hmm I guess I will there's nothing else for me to do and I can use the company but I will be expecting that reward or there will be other ways you can compensate me
as essence taker laid next to Lance worried as the old gypsy woman put essence taker in her pack and slowly dragged Lance back to her hidden location of the city for his fate is now up to her
Really is not a really a defeat for dark blade but he did slow her down cut down half her forces and at least giving some breathing room for a possibility of a holdout or I planned of attack for it's all about stalling for time for at least the witch King as this narrative is about to heat up 😀👍
Are we going to get a sigismund malus dark blade because that would be awesome ha

Lmao why would any of them be even concerned about the battle when Malekith and Mummy Morathi are present? I mean anyone other than Malus because he's definitely going to end up only deeper in the hole he's been digging!

Well, that is more or less the same result of Malus' first such military command that I expected.
"…one of the rulers of the six cities, he HADN'T managed to mortally offend in the last year." Haha…now there's a one-sentence summary of the Darklblade series, thus far.
Ah, I wondered where Malekith's machinations were going, before he finally decreed his newly-chosen role for Major-Damage Malus. I'm curious if Morathi chose any particular shadows to lurk within, all the way on the other side of the hall, or if that's simply her preferred mode of pedestrian travel…
