Today, we see Dewayning fortunes of Footfall Station for ourselves. This is supposed to be the last Bastian of humanity in the Koronus Expanse?

  1. The two endings of alternate universe Bastiens:

    1. Forced by the A.I.M. mercenaries to feed people out of charity instead of profit or face punishment

    2. Die an untimely death in front of the von Valencius house after proposing to feed people for profit instead of charity

I’m starting to see a lesson being taught for anyone named Bastien 😅

  2. I don't know how to feel about Jae-walking pun.

Kind of sad for Bastien. Even if his house aren't the smartest(Footfall is literally the only shipyard in the sector and you're starving out skilled workforce you will not find anywhere else just to put your name on scraps, you won't be able to defend🤦. Lessons of factories in besieged Leningrad haven't survived for so long), he still should have survived and had an option to talk after some medical care. But I guess nobility on Footfall doesn't wear any armor under the clothes. -2 nobles in an hour. Anvers don't seem like a small nuisance at this attrition rate😅

Kinda feel divided on the "freak exhibit" section. Surprised there is no repercussions to either choice as you straight up threathen the guy and apparently the poor folks have somewhere to go? Irl buying slaves away from slaveowners doesn't work in the long run as you're still buying them and usually at hiked prices since they know that you will have to pay. The resolution I was kind of expecting was to pay for their release, but allow them to stay for a % of income from the show they will get and just without electric collars and with wire mesh not allowing to throw anything at them. Why such half measure? Idk if mutants can find job of Footfall and if they would even be able to turn the corner before some of the former viewers club them to death. But I guess just threatening earns happy ending for them no questions asked ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Love the interior designs. They heavily remind me of Metro 2033 series and the stations the survivors huddle in. Truly 40k is a cargo cult that worships the post-apocalyptic scraps left by survivors of grand space opera, not knowing that said survivors themselves were cargo cult of greater times… and that cycles repeats itself in a loop😂
