Retcon just incase you do not know much 40K lore "SUFFER NOT THE MUTANT, THE HERETIC, THE XENO TO LIVE" and while a Rogue Trader may fudge this not sure how mutants would aid a profit. In the Grimm darkness of the far future the mutant has arguably the hardest lot and are looked on as far less than human, which when it was not there fault (normally) is harsh but that is 40K.
