Warcraft 3: The TRUE Story of Arkain [Act 7] 04 – Burning Forest (2/2)

Legends of Arkain consists of an original plot where the True story coalesces the story told throughout the First and Second Books of the three races of Arkain into one. This retroactively overhauls older maps in significant ways with re-terraining, adding characters, adding playable factions, and fleshing out the storyline overall.

The races of Arkain fight against the demon invaders, who try once again to enslave every being on Arkain. The Humans, the Orcs and the Undead will have to make a stand against them… or face complete annihilation or enslavement by the Demons.

  1. The intriguing thing about all this is that we are gonna stay guessing until the very end as to what is actually happening with Aridon. Also hoping we get a meeting between all 3 "gods" at one point

  2. Jayborino: It's hard for me to connect dots

Easy Jay! Aridon is just playing cunning spooky skeleton, it's a ploy, which even "Brian" believed into it seems or not, we shall see

PS Also remember Jay, Aridon wants to get chidren of elven queen

  3. Probably a plan behind all this at the end (no way aridon doesn't at least know if not approves of this), and there was q thoughtful pause thrown into the mix as well.
Nice artwork, btw, tho the boots remind a bit of ones worn in dmc series (the top buckle gives it away). Old black corrugated or new ornamented armor of golems (or gola I read somewhere, boni for bonus if we're following that logic), hard to pick, the glowing eyes menace is def improvement.
    Interesting implications for future yes.
The "not mess around" bit might be suspect a bit, however I see the worth of trying another path (and be able to revert if possible).

  4. I assume any choice will make your life harder in a future mission, just not the same one, since you play as all factions at one point or another. But mostly because it's Arkain and it's not in the business of making your life easier ^^

Is it just me that finds strange to start an uneasy alliance by "BTW kill our leader and our entire faction dies" unless she was bluffing to appear weaker for when the inevitable betrayal happens

  5. Perhaps Aridon is playing 5D galaxy chess. Or perhaps he's just gone senile and will go on vacation as he realises he can't do his lovely "make the balanced world map I want" plan become real. Like I do on some map painting games, because bordergore is annoying.

  6. I have to say “Brian” meeting up with Saphira and Krom saying that’s “dying” was an interesting conversation. Though we all know that Brian can literally see through the shadows and lies of Aridon. (Nowadays at least)

  7. The chances of the Demon God being alive is still not zero, why?

    1. He exploded, not died. Who knows if that was just some faked out last ditch effort to make everyone assume he died. Like make 90% of his essence explode while hiding the core 10% using that confusion.
    2. The Dark One was literally ripped apart by him, it can be argued that he was the most powerful. Also the Dark One managed to live after being ripped apart, maybe the Demon God managed to hide his Will like how Brian did. The demons still worship his castle and didn't replace him for some reason.
    3. Even Aridon said that powerful Dreadlords are difficult to permanently kill, imagine their god.
