The gigantic fleets that left just as you started the assault were the blockade itself. You showed up while they were still mustering. I think what you wanted to do to avoid the blockade actually forming was to bomb Kazeron before they started gathering (i.e. before it did the loud alert). You can get the blockade recalled, but only by performing a saturation bombardment of any League world, not just a tactical bombardment.
Thank you for all the amazing content!!
👍
Love this game man!
Pretty sure some League politician is bringing these blockades up as an extreme form of population control at this point. They lose way more than they gain and outside of the economic factors, you Gain more than you lose from them…
I had a Tri Tach mercenary raid show up to my size 4 colony with 6 Paragons. These crisis events get crazy.
That being said: for most of these events, once you have a decent fleet, a decent tactic is often to wait outside your system and to ambush the fleets as they head towards you. They are often very staggered, so you can take out a lot of them in small combats.
Excellent military ops! Also, probably should have gone for heavy armaments, they sell better than organics. Awesome episode!
