CHAINSAW MAN CHAPTER 129 RECAP
As Asa gradually regains consciousness, she perceives two Chainsaw Men before her thoughts are interrupted by a barrage of clawed tendrils that attempt to seize her. Denji and Asa hastily escape through a doorway, returning to Earth. However, Asa becomes separated from Chainsaw Man, who is wounded in the stomach due to the tendril attack.
Yoru materializes beside Asa, commanding her to eliminate Chainsaw Man and promising to restore her body in exchange. Yet, she becomes disheartened when she sees Asa hesitating and shouts at her, frustrated that she does the opposite of what she says. Asa takes a rock and stabs her palm, causing them both to cry out in agony, before using the blood to revive Denji. Yoru is irritated that her archenemy is being saved, while Asa explains that Chainsaw Man has saved her twice and that witnessing his actions has inspired her to keep living.
Suddenly, another spiked tendril emerges from the doorway they just escaped, and Asa cries out for Chainsaw Man to save her. Just as the tendril is about to strike, Denji is revived and picks them up, jumping on cars and building walls to avoid the demon. Denji warns that he’s getting exhausted and may be unable to rescue Asa, as more tendrils materialize from nearby buildings. Asa spots a motorbike on the highway and asks Denji to steal it, but he refuses, as a woman is riding it. However, she soon notices a man on a bike, which Denji happily steals, blaming the theft on Asa. Denji asks Asa if she knows how to drive, before leaping onto an approaching tendril with her. The original motorbike rider is left bewildered, still in shock that Chainsaw Man stole his bike.
