The root of the problem is conservative ideology. Being a conservative means that you are adverse to change because the system works for you. You fight against progress.
These people on the panel are talking like progressives. They may deny it, but they want the GOP to move forward, which is counter to the party’s ideals.
Leave the party. Become an independent if you can’t stomach being a Democrat. But unless you want to be in a cult, leave now. Not tomorrow, not next week, leave now.

The preacher that leads that church is not one I would ever recognize. Jesus Christ preached of love for all children of God, for all humanity and for self sacrifice. He died on the Cross forgiving his enemies and asking his Father to do so also. This preacher only spouts out words of hatred, division, anger and violence. I think Christ would be very saddened to see a supposed man of God leading his congregation so far astray.
