No wonder the scrim was up at the train station. I thought the station was closed but I saw a train pull in so it couldn't be closed.
Disney is switching over to artificial grass throughout all of the parks. It not only saves water, but money. The cost of water AND not having to pay workers to mow it.
They are installing artificial turf at main entrance saw it today riding the train
Could Disney be replacing some of the original thirsty plants at the front with either some succulent varieties or possibly even artificial plants in some areas, to help combat the severe drought?
I do remember walls covering the entrance when they were filming Saving Mr. Banks.
Looks like the building in Tomorrowland isn’t going anywhere. They’re building a DVC exclusive lounge inside it.

When we were there on August 13 I think, there was no Mickey. It was bizarre!

At the entrance I believe they are switching real grass to artificial turf. They have been slowly changing real grass for artificial turf around the entire park and on certain rides
I don't think Walt would have allowed the wall at the entrance, and would have wanted the landscaping completed without guests ever seeing it. He'd spend the money to get it done right.
The River Belle isn't serving Mickey pancakes anymore? That's kind of sad.
Disney used to decorate the holidays over night. They did a documentary on the holiday transformations. It was pretty magical. Definitely due to staffing issues.

Maybe someone who knows more about landscaping then me can see if my thoughts are correct, but I believe some flowers and plants drain certain nutrients from the soil, I wonder if they simply have to change out the dirt or add something to it so they can go years and years more easier with what they’re planting?
That nighttime shot of the sub going under the waterfall and the monorail at the same time was perfection!
Fewer employees(cast members lol) and less overtime! Hey when you get woke a wave it under people's noses you are going to loose business.
The facade for Monsters Inc reminds me of most of the entrances at Disneyworld. Disneyland does a much better job with the queues.
I went to DL by myself last week and rode on the monorail. I asked if I could ride up front with the driver and they said they are not doing that yet. Bummer.

Have fun at Disney. Expensive, crowded, most perks for booking a hotel have vanished AND it requires a degree in analytical statistics to get anything done.

I totally agree with you my friend about the Halloween being brought so Way Ahead of the Autumn season. I personally don’t like it. Bring CHRISTMAS 🎄 OUT EARLY & let it stay out LONGER!
