I want Ford to furlough one of its top planners in order to have them intern with the Tesla Supercharger Planning & Logistics team. After a year or so Ford should be able to contribute toward building their own NACS supercharger network. As a Tesla owner, nothing would make me happier than to see a few rows of blue accented superchargers some place, knowing that I could charge on that separate network if I chose to.
Thanks Lars. VW needs to quit having meetings and get to work as they re loosing ground in the USA China and their home turf. All this is while Giga Berlin is still ramping and China is still their main export hub. BYD and others are already in Europe and Tesla is has their network open to other brands. Ford's move to make sure their customers get a better experience may help their sales and show other automakers what they need to do next. I hear money printer warming up… let's see how this goes in just a few quarters from now.

34:43 Australia's national broadband network (NBN) is a joke. We live 10km (6 miles) from the CBD and cant get reliable internet over the 60 year old copper lines. No fibre option yet. 25mbps absolute peak download. 2mbps peak upload with normal being around half those speeds and at least 3 dropouts per hour.
Cant afford starlink so 4g is our option. Better and cheaper than NBN.

I am from California. I have both Mach E and model Y. Ford Mustang Mach E is a very good car, a little bit smaller than model Y. The problem for Mach E is it is much more expensive than model Y and its technology is far behind Tesla. Morever, the Ford dealer s are terrible!

Tesla's biggest issue in Europe is their sucking software. It can be that they still sell a lot of EV's in Europe but if they keep ignoring it from the software side, they gonna have issues. I mean you guys in USA can already test self driving. Here (in Germany) my Tesla does not even manage to understand the most simple traffic rules or signs.
A 10 years old BMW is better in reading signs. A current VW ID electric car is better in lane keeping.
I drive my M3 LR since 2 years now and it worked better when I bought it. In the meantime they disabled radar and rely on bad cameras with all their issues. Tesla is still one of the most efficient electric cars with excelent navigation but they have to pay more attention to their assistance systems because driving Tesla and use them is annoying due to all the false positives and glitches.
At 2:40, the diagram showed a 10% growth of ice vehicles???
And later on you show a graph showing the decline of ice vehicles….
So, Lars, you can not have it both ways!!!!
I'm betting the problem for the mach-e was the charging network. Looks like Farley found the fix with his Tesla agreement.😊
VW ID4 outselling F Mach-E may have something to do with IRA EV subsidy, the former is made in the USA the latter in Mexico.

Don't think the Ford dealerships are selling the EV's and are adding significant mark-ups. Farley announced they are switching to direct online sales and fixed pricing for EV's in 6 months.
Having experienced both the Y and the E at close range I can understand why the E sales are down – the Y beats it in every way. The price difference is the last straw. The VWs are awful, not even worth talking about
The great thing about the ford Tesla partnership is that ford owners can sell their Mach E and buy a model Y , then they can use all the chargers
Ford is tooooooooo freakin…………. Expensive……………….. however things might change once they have hooked into the Tesla Charging network, CCS is just horrible in the US… the chargers don’t ever work right (my personal experience with Chevy Bolt), it is just my hopes that Rivian jumps to NACS as well. CCS is just crap

You notice that both Herbert Diess and Jim Farley took vacations using their companies EVs. I know MUSK added a 3rd row to the Model S for his family. I wonder what other Auto executives have actually driven their EV's everyday, let alone taken then on vacation.
