RE: Elden ring, i started as a Samurai but i deleted it and switched to a Mage and OMG i loving it. Currently rocking the Dark moon Greatsword and the Carian Knight Armor.
The souls community acts just like the undertale/deltarune community in telling you to play a certain way or it's wrong. Especially from the newer players.
I will never understand why people in game communities have to be toxic. I've never played any Dark Souls games so I didn't know how toxic people in that community are. I thought the Genshin Impact community was one of the worst.
Hm Ive watched some of their streams and for the most part they seem to be doing pretty good in Elden.
See I get the whole "no bully" streamer for the way they play the game. Especially souls games but just to remind people. If they're playing a game like Apex, Warzone (which I've hardly seen any vtuber play), CSGO, Valorant. There are ways you NEED to play the game, especially if it's an FPS game and ESPECIALLY if it's ranked. Hence why a lot of vtubers stay away from fps games which is a sad sight to see because fps games garner a big audience.
I mean, if the Nijisanji artist thinks they can read the mens body/facial language through their avatar then ok then.
I don't know, maybe the different cultural values for the Vietnamese makes them actually see swears as something super serious when you are super annoyed with someone.
Saruei encouraging Mouse is just…. Ironic, especially with her recent behavior toward the artists that got disqualified for tracing art with no proof aside from a mods critique of the art, claiming it was traced with no evidence.
Zen and elden ring… No surprise there. The people into that probably are really old so they gatekeep out of habit: it is still a souls game.
A better place to share art: in my experience, though it may be anecdotal, is discord. Most people there are really nice, but that's just the servers I lurk in.
That's why hololive members all have [[Spoiler Alert]] on their title. Damn, I really expected more from the Souls community I guess. It's always the stupidly loud minority ruining good fandoms smh

Bro pleaaaaaaaase say that it's a toxic part of the elden ring community. I have never played a souls game and i was afraid to ask anyone from the community because i heard how hardcore they are but i went to the subreddit and I've never seen such a welcoming and positive community. First of all, a huge majority of the posts are memes, second they encourage everyone to have their own builds ( i was once in a Reddit talk with the community and everyone was talking about so many different builds while everyone else was so happy for them) and third and most importantly they stand against hate and harassment (I've seen some of these toxic elden ring players that like to judge other people be shut down in the matter of hours) i don't know if i can call myself part of the elden ring community since all i do is look at the memes and sometimes comment, but i don't want a community that's so freaking positive to be slandered for a few bad apples that we don't welcome in our community.
