To be honest I have to disagree with the statement that "we are not capable of creating a craft to reach that distance" and is not impossible. It is very possible. With the technologies we have advanced in over the last 20+ years, it is very possible but just is not being done. If thought about logically both scientific and realistic, it is completely possible.
