Every tree in the garden of Eden was meant to give knowledge, work upon and awaken the inward senses to domains of secret (life). However, Satan put all inverted knowledge/sense into a single “tree of knowledge of good and evil” which gives the soul another lens to see contrary to how God sees things.
The essence of this inverted knowledge is to enable or strengthen man’s senses to have breakthrough into the world of exploration. Satan’s intention was for them to do sin until they are opened up to the sense of good and evil which is the world of serving self and idols. Unlike Adam and Eve, Cain transacted so much with this inverted knowledge, fueled his inverted inward sense by disobedience, and journeyed out of God’s presence.
Heaven wants to purge us of certain tendencies in us as we are getting to a zone where man and resources will fail. He wants to be our fount of inspiration for service against Self. We must renounce every hidden things of dishonesty because those that will partake of the season of everlasting life must be built up within.
