Friday Night Funkin’ is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io.

The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn’t approve of him. It’s up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?

Friday Night Funkin’ is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. A full version of the game is currently in development, having been successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Check the changelog here for information on the latest updates.     Lore behind it: GF would return to green hill asking for Sonic.exe's help, .exe would agree, .exe can be able to bring BF's soul, Then Too Slow would begin. Sonic.exe would be happy at GF's attempt, GF would be happy too, .exe's body would grow taller and more crystalized, implying that Triple Trouble would soon come, GF would be confused on what's happening to him, .exe would tell GF there's nothing to worry about, Then You can't run starts. Sonic.exe would then scream in pain from the growth and the crystallization of his body, the screen would fade into red, then Triple Trouble would start. After Triple Trouble, Sonic.exe would chase after GF, implying that .exe lost control over his body. Knuckles would fend .exe off. Eggman would tell GF to run out of there. GF would listen.

GF would dodge it super easy, then without a doubt, Sanic would bat her to the next realm with the SSB Baseball Bat which can easily get you K.O'd.
