  1. Paula, I love the Pauline leggings! Glad James has your inhaler with you guys. I couldn’t run in the hot weather if my life depended on it….you’re doing such a great job! Hot weather running would induce ‘the trots’! Iain IS handsome. ❤

  4. 🤣😂🤣I'm not sure Paula if that cake is really cooked. I think you need to dig into the other half to check it too. 🤣😂I think I am going to start checking my cakes to see if they are done in the middle the way you do. Would enjoy it much more than just sticking a toothpick or knife in it. 🤣😂I am a cookbook author and have a youtube that we do some cooking on – may have to recommend your way of testing a cake to our viewers. 🤣😂🤣🥰

  5. Sounds like Doug is living his best life! I have 9 rescue cats and some of them are very independent and like to have their own way too. Collars on an outdoor cat can be dangerous…I have a friend who lost one of her cats when his collar got caught on a nail on a fence so I have never put collars on any of mine. Besides it should be getting cold soon and he will come back indoors. By the way that cake looked amazing!

  7. Paula in this heat please don't wait too long before using your inhaler. We don't want any stress on your beautiful loving heart❤. My doctor says to use it straight away in the heat.
Your cake looks yummy. I don't like cinnamon, do you think maybe I could use something else, Maybe ginger?
It's nice to see Pam😊. You are naughty, but that cake looks tempting
    Love Lynne ❤️XX

  8. Aren't you afraid Doug will get run over? I always kept my cats inside after one came home with someone's nice, ready to be grilled chicken leg/thigh. 😳

  9. I put a collar on my cat many, many years ago, she didn’t like and had her front leg through the collar and she was stuck like that for who knows how long. I threw the collar out and she never had one again.

  10. I’d love it if you made one of those crumble cakes in a video for us to follow along! Maybe you could vary it a little by making it with a Bakewell Tart/ Almond flavour or something so that it’s ‘based on’ the original recipe?

  11. I saw the comments about collars and guessed Doug was a cat who wouldn't wear one. We had cats like that when I was a child, they'd go out in a collar and come home without it. A few years later we found a collar up a tree hooked on a twig, we assume the cat hooked it on and backed out of the collar. We have no way of knowing whether it was deliberate to get rid of the collar or the collar got caught and the cat managed to escape. Either way, not good so our cats had no collars. Well done on keeping up the running in this heat
