  1. maybe if vladdy worked on playing instead of goofing around he would have a vladdy caliber season instead of the horrific season he is on.he should return his salary to the season ticket holders

  2. Vlad Jr won the HR derby but in his first round he looked about ready to collapse from fatigue. Maybe he and Manoah had the same "trainer" this past off-season? Another thought: is it possible that Vlad is struggling mentally this year, in part due to the loss of buddies to trades? Despite the "its just Vlad being Vlad" antics during games I think any one of us would admit that core losses (whatever those might be) in our lives would affect our lives, careers etc.

  3. Vlad is tremendously overrated, just excuses. He’s not a good first baseman, he’s slow and now he’s not hitting to any elite level. Saying he won a HR derby like it means anything for actually playing the game of baseball is hilarious. Now they are talking about bad luck….just so funny.

  4. While I believe Vlad's overrated, I also think the Jays mishandled him. Treated him like royalty since he was sixteen, he comes up and has an MVP caliber year, they don't offer him an extension. It's bothered him and I don't blame him – or Shatkins. Maybe next time don't lay out the red carpet til a guy's put in a good about of time. We all know Vlad will have another MVP caliber year and we all know it won't be in Toronto.

  5. they need to do what the angels did with mike trout and send him down and let him regroup he is doing nothing here , jays will not win a wildcard spot this season so let him finish it in the minors.

  6. Vladdy is a big baby, and on purpose wont play to his potential until he gets paid, the FO dropped the ball with this kid, he shoulda been the star of MLB, he's butt hurt.
