Visiting Paisupok Lake…The clearest lake in the world! (Banggai Islands)

This week we continued to explore the Banggai Islands in Sulawesi, Indonesia. Our adventures started at Paisupok Lake, the clearest lake in the world! It was very easy to see how it gained this title from the moment we first saw it.

Paisupok is a stunning blue lake where you can swim and paddle in small boats around. Not only can you see the bottom of the lake perfectly from the surface but you can even see the surrounding palm trees from under the surface. This beautiful clear lake is a must for anyone visiting the Banggai Islands in Sulawesi.

That wasn’t it, we still paddle boarded around Mbuang Mbuang and finished up by visiting another clear lake inside a cave. Gua Babanang was an incredible way to finish this day exploring the Banggai Islands!

  1. god & it's relatives = jesus mohammad moses krishna buddha are scams while the ruling satans are real

if nothing happens without god's will then you human slaves & your children suffering hunger & thirst must be god's will so why do you human slaves worship & pray to god for sustenance ?

regardless of which religion you human slaves believe to be

regardless of which gods you human slaves worship & pray to

you human slaves worship & pray to the ruling satans under the deception of all powerful benevolent god

  2. Fun fact: In the local Banggai language, “Paisupok” means “black water.” But don’t confuse it with Indonesian, where “black water” is “air hitam” as Banggai has its own distinct language. Note that Indonesia is home to more than 700 languages and dialects. Despite the name, Lake Paisupok is famous for its crystal-clear blue water, making it a stunning natural gem.

Thank you for visiting the Banggai Islands in the province of Central Sulawesi, Indonesia! We hope you’ll explore even more of Indonesia’s incredible diversity next time!
