  3. my plane departs in about 7hrs. im freaking paranoid about the temperature checks, not gonna lie. its the most stressful part of travelling now due to the complications it can create. having a temp too high is scary AF as you'd be limited where you can stay. im trying 2 different temp tool, a electronic laser temp gun which isnt really accurate and a electronic thermometer from a pharmacy. the temp gun readings are causing much strife in me while the proper thermometer is giving safe temperatures.
    doing some last several hour location checks on laptop before im forced to use smafone for all that. sometimes i cant help but want to acuminate air miles on the phone as it mis-types or does voodoo link clicking. Tokyo, Hiroshima, Kyoto. arcades, 2 Gundams, anime shops, cultural sites/parks/shrines, full Fushimi Inari mountain trek. if i can i will try Kyoto aquarium also. Itsukushima shrine and the Kure naval museum are on my list. atleast you are still in Tokyo area right now. might try to catch you around the city.

  4. are the leaves still on the trees? im hoping to catch the fall foliage.

    China has no lock downs anymore, its a cool down period where they happen to be isolated. CCP has more ways to refer to a lockdown these days.

  5. Narita area was very nice popular for UNAGI too!!! We stayed 2 days was plenty!!! The koi fish there was amazing!!!
    And kamakura Daibutsu was quite impressive for the scale I was like wow when we went!!! 😮

  6. Next year will be our 5th visit and 10 year anniversary. Decided to finally tackle some Sakura (although Autumn is still my favourite), but will be venturing to Sapporo, Nikko, Sendai, Kofu, Matsumoto and Yokohama with Tokyo in between around full bloom. If you’re out and about, we may even run into each other again! 🍻

  13. I followed Snow festivals from the Aizuwakamatsu area all the way up to Aomori for February of 2020 just before the lock downs. They were amazing. I made it all the way to Kobe till I got sick from eating karage and harimake on a small Chinese street at about 8 pm. Will never make that mistake again.

    This time I want to make it to Hiroshima and Fukuoka. I'd like to stay for 2-3 months this time.

  26. Things are getting better, slowly. I think next year things will eventually pick up at the pace we desire in terms of tourism numbers in Japan. Till then? Patience is key

  28. Hi jhon , yeay i can go to japan now , but I'll start my journey from osaka , Right now my plan is lego land for my child and autumn , but still i need a lot of plan for my child hehehe , time come fast because our flight at 28 nov 2022 , can't wait to see japan after 2 years lockdown
