  1. I noticed all the Pirates turntables were all finally working again 2 weeks ago. It was my biggest annoyance over the years with Pirates, it totally takes you out of the immersion just seeing the characters static. Glad they are back and hope they stay running consistently.

  2. Perhaps SEA is slowly creeping into the parks in anticipation of an SEA movie which, to throw a wild guess out there, creates a story around the diverse group stuck up the tree escaping the rhino in The Jungle Cruise. Will they take a ride on Dwayne Johnson's (new) boat with Emily Blunt in Jungle Cruise 2?

I've always felt that The Rain Forest Cafe building would have made a perfect Indiana Jones restaurant. Perhaps it will temporarily become an Indiana Jones shop so Disney can capitalize on Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny coming out in June. If that thing is half as good as the trailer, Disney finally has another hit on their hands.

  3. Too funny! "Pig of a building" is right. Good one David. ESPN building has got to go. Glad your music is a go. Really glad the eating area on the river is open. Our favorite. Take our food from wherever there. Thank for the great update. 💙💛

  4. My daughter and I were in the old ESPN Zone in April for a high school music festival. It's still largely intact in there and it sounds like they use it for a makeshift music studio when needed (at least back then).

  5. There is a new SEA series for middle grades that came out this year apparently their is a young girl character who is linked to SEA (I haven’t read it yet myself) I wonder if she may be the daughter in the treehouse family?

  6. Maybe the turntables were working, but a couple of weeks ago, Pirates was looking BAD. All 3 dogs had issues, the guy with the cats was missing, the guy with the pigs (including the pigs) were missing, and one of the singers wasn't moving. It was pretty terrible. I guess things are fixed now but boy, a couple of weeks ago that ride was in rough shape.

  7. Regarding the Pirates turntables, just spend $10,000 and rebuild those turntables!!!! Seriously, it can't be that complicated of a mechanism!!! They talk about spending billions in the park, but spending $10,000 to fix the turntables just can't be done? A billion dollars in capital expenditure is A LOT of money, where does it all go?

  9. Maybe one of the holes in downtown will be Porto’s?? Please do not change RBJ kitchen menu- I hope they can bring back rainforest cafe, please! Can’t wait to go back again. Thank you Dave! Freshbaked!!!

  10. Don’t change Splash Mountain! Every time that Disneyland repurposes a ride it’s always a failure. Remember the Tree House and The Tiki Room. Disaster! Leave Slash Mountain alone

  11. Tortilla Joe’s is my favorite restaurant there. It is always very busy and I won’t care for an Asian style restaurant cuz I have my favorite small mom and pop ones at home. These large Asian restaurants always tend to be more expensive for what you get and I avoid them.

  12. I went to disney a month ago and I noticed they fixed the first Mater animatronic over at Raidiator Springs Racers! He was static for atleast over a year, felt great to see him working again! Although they needa fix the Sheriff animatronic he’s still in B-mode I guess

  13. If Tortilla Jo’s does get demolished, remember that it’s not built on solid ground like the AMC theaters were. It’s above the GCH valet parking garage. I’m not sure what this means for if that demolition could go faster or slower than everything else, but definitely something to keep in mind!

  14. For me personally. I think they still need to repair rides that are going away permanently, before their closure, we all still deserve the full experience. I will ride splash mountain for the first time and the last on the 9th so I hope it’s all up and working, I want to see it in all its glory for a fitting, and proud farewell. ❤

  15. David, it’s so funny that you pointed out the 4 pirates turntables working because every single time I get on to ride, I check to see which one is down because there’s always one!! So happy to hear and see all four running together at once, feels like a once in a lifetime thing!! 😂🎉
