The power steering upgrades for older tractors like this make a good bit improvement to them, and are one of the reasons some get rid of older machines like this, for having hard steering. A torque amplifier added to the steering shaft, and maybe a retrofitted car or Ute power steering pump and some hoses are about all you need. The pump shouldn't be to expensive to obtain from the wrecker yard. Obviously brackets will need to be made if one plans to upgrade the steering.

How do you know the correct wiring for the battery terminal. Am working on a dozer and it could be positive ground but am wondering how to determine that if there is no markings. Any ideas.
