Omg i know buddy l stuff has doubled and tripled in the last 3 years . Where are they getting these lower values? All the antiques are going for way way more after covid just like all other prices of food and gas and antiques are super inflation. The antiques roadshow is flat lieing about prices.
Jewelry is selling higher then it ever has.
Those horse hair are more not less
The stuff is not lower across the board . If the economy is better than 15 years then how would all tbe antiques be in less value . Think about it every single thing in life is double to triple in price . But some how they are saying the antiques they looked at in 2007 are lower. But i have seen half these items sell for double the 2007 estimate not the new lower numbers. They hired a tv executive to do the prices now . Because i have seen these very appraisers giving higher appraisals on different shows.
Kinda sad to see the crazy depreciation in many of these items. Let’s go Brandon!

It's important to remember that many of the 'price drop' dings can be attributed to the 2022 drop in most collectible pieces – People bought up the market during the lockdown years, so coming out of lockdown buyers dried up. Redo the price update in a year or two and you're going to hear a lot of those sad dings turn into happy dings.
