  1. What was the I don't know what she identifies as, or is was thinking about traveling to work internationally and bringing contraband! It's as sad story, because Victor Bout delivers the world's worst contraband!

  2. This constant monitoring of kids is so sick and twisted. Parents it's your job to watch for this. Everyone watch the new Vice report on the private companies making millions off of Big Brother style tactics to constantly check for flagged interactions.
This report and these lawsuits are naive. Facebook has always used algorithms, it's the whole business model. Remember, if the service is "free," YOU'RE THE PRODUCT they're selling to advertisers. The remedy will never be to curb the company's practices. They'll just sell you a monitoring service that "guarantees safety".
Remember: the world is not safe! If you try to wrap your child in bubble wrap, they'll inevitably get hurt. Rather than trying to childproof the whole world, try teaching resilience. It's called antifragility. It's a hard cold cruel world. What kids need are coping skills. A sense of self that doesn't rely on social media. A sense of competence. To know that they can get beat down by the world and have scary feelings and thoughts, then strengthen an inner resolve to carry on.

  3. “Soon there's going to be a knock on that door and you will be called outside. In the hall there will be a man who is wearing a dog leather mask, don’t ask why, who out-ranks you. First he'll compliment you on the fine job you've done – on you making the world a safer place. That you're to receive a commendation or a promotion. And then he's going to tell you that I am to be released in exchange for a lesbian basketball player”
