  1. I don't think Caleb Williams will be an elite quarterback. Now when I see an elite quarterback that can make the system his voice is Micheal penix jr. He throws down field, takes risks. Like Brett Farve.

  2. I would not be averse to drafting a defensive stud in the first round and taking a quarterback in round 2. This quarterback class is very deep so a really good quarterback may be available in the second round. I also wouldn’t be upset if they went all out on a franchise quarterback in the first round

  3. The Minnesota Vikings currently have pick 7 in round 1 of the 2024 NFL draft and I will list players below that the Minnesota Vikings could use that pick on.
Jordan Travis Quarter Back Florida State Seminoles
J.J. McCarthy Quarter Back Michigan Wolverines
Jared Verse Defensive End Florida State Seminoles
Keon Coleman Wide Receiver Florida State Seminoles
Trey Benson Running Back Florida State Seminoles
Riley Leonard Quarter Back Duke Blue Devils

  4. Literally wasting an incredible opportunity to draft a franchise changing QB without paying a premium. Instead were going to win 6 games and pay 3 firsts to move up with a swiss cheese defense that we then can't fill. This team is infuriating

  5. As cool as it would be getting BO in the 2nd being a diehard Vikings & Oregon fan I just don’t think he’s gonna translate to the NFL well. Oregon has a perfect system that hides Bos weaknesses with all runs & short passes. I think they HAVE to go qb with their first pick then try filling some of their weaknesses with the rest of the picks

  6. And if they trade Danielle, they might actually stand a chance at getting one of the top 4. They need to be drafting top 6 to even sniff one them. Every GM is wetting themselves after every loss, that's how good this QB class is. Penix would easily be the 1st pick if Williams and May weren't even in this draft.

  7. Id much rather have the 3rd pick and get our pick at QBs vs oh this guys available at 15 guess we will take him. Will Levis was available at 23 and we passed so clearly sticking and picking doesn’t always works

  8. Andy, do this format every week. I just had a premonition the draft position is going to drop week after week and by late January we might be #31 or #32

  9. Have to go QB, and I'm hoping it's Maye or Penix. Both are studs and there's something that doesn't feel right about Williams.
But after that (other than building the trenches, I always support that) I'm hoping they snag Cooper DeJean out of Iowa. Dudes a monster in the backfield and a playmaker with the ball in his hands. He's just really good at football.

  10. Give Hock a couple good games and then trade him to the Raiders or something. He’s too expensive and not at all worth it. I like him, but he’s not a cornerstone player at best; at current, he’s a liability.

  11. Caleb is staying in school if the Bears have the number one pick. The Vikings next two games are against the 49ers and at the Packers. If they lose those two then its time to go into tank mode. I think Carolina will creep up the standings soon. Bryce gets better every week. Plus they have a weak schedule. But the Bears will most likely have two top 5 picks.

  12. Base on the Vikings GM history, you can’t trust that he won’t give it to the lions again for a bunch of nothing while they draft players that would come back to hunt the Vikings in the long run.
