3:16 XD You gotta love it.
My man had some style
"Respirator" …legendary
wow 😳 the design is very Pinoy!!! 👍👍☝️
I hate that they call it a viking battleaxe ,
Ho… Pinoy lng mlakas
Jonathon got robbed…big time. I know Ryu made his axe with pretty limited tools, but it always came to fit and finish at the end if needed. I don’t know what changed and Jonathon knew it too.
Don't agree with this one. I know it's a feel good story, but one axe clearly showed much more detail.
My man just forged a battle axe in zombie apocalypse background. 🗿
Yeah everybody wanted him to win because he was the most Underdog and his blade did perform well but I believe that it was all bogus in the end the other guy clearly had a more presentable weapon and his should have won more work was gone in to the development of a weapon just because the other guy had more difficulty should not have influence the judges but I believe it did
Ryu is epic, deserved it 100%
Viking axe as a breaching tool?
No brother, the battle axe was meant to be light, fast and sharp against people. It was a weapon.
An axe to chop wood or breach would be heavier and slower. A tool not a weapon.
3:15 High power tool's so remember safety first, then he wear's a sunglasses, and his respirator is a dang cigar.
Went to church with his brother hes a cool guy miguel lim his whole family are awesome people
Is nobody talking about his 6 inch disk in a hand grinder with no guard whatsoever
Top 10 IRL anime characters.
After TEOTWAWKI Ryu is definitely someone to have on your team.
I'm a farrier,thats a fancy……..I'm an IRON WORKER……MY RESPIRATOR!!!
bruh used an axe to make another axe as well
Philippine iron man
Goes to show you don't need fancy equipment to be a great craftsman.
I don't like when they use powered tools, other than maybe a grinder. A powered grinder gets the same job done quicker, but the Vikings had no way of drilling through steel.
That respirator was the winning item.
Hair loss is his true enemy
Some one show u a hand made sharped knife… U confirm it will kill lol
I think this was the episode that made the show take off. what a story. I love when the underdog wins
My dude from The motherland
For the motherland for The Philippines
Filipino pride 🤘🏻
I am pretty sure the ancient Vikings had forges similar in scale as Ryu’s. “It doesn’t have to be pretty to split skulls” is exactly what a Viking would have thought when they came up with the battle axe.
Ryu is a legend. Used the most DIY equipment imaginable against an opponent with all modern equipment and STILL won!
Mentality is everything.
Pure Legend, nothing like Season 1 Forged in Fire
Ryu is the coolest. Like there are loads of cool people who've been on here, but he's the only one I can remember when I talk about this show. He just is. The way he forges, the way he talks, and most importantly the end result of his work screams "Look at me, I am literally the coolest".
He had time to build a new forge, light up a cigar and deal with the fire department and still won, legend
"It doesn't have to be pretty to split skulls" that quote still sticks with me.
