Welcome to the Letterman YouTube Channel, home to all your favorite clips from Late Night and Late Show – as well as conversations with the writers, producers and performers who helped make it all happen. The language may strike you as quaint & flowery, the clothing comically lacey & ornate — but that’s how things were back in this colorful and now bygone era.

hi
After all these years we figured out who wrote the letter.
Wow, Craig Kilborn.
4th 😊
Special appearance by Emily Butgas.
Was that Dwight the Troubled Teen at the end there?
Kathleen did a great job on the chuckwagon 🙂
Shacking up with that hussie Carmen Sandiego, I bet.
“It took us weeks to find a letter without a signature.“ Why did it have to be a real letter?
So … you’re telling me that the letter writer is still out there somewhere?
On the program tonight, the lovely and talented Phoebe Cates, actress and comedian Carol Kane, and the Fresh Prince, Will Smith. Stick around for that, kids.
Shecky the Gondolier!
Now we need "Dress Cool".
Dave can sing really well, if he puts his heart in to it.
The accordion player should have been Weird Al!
The cake in the garbage was a nice touch.
Two idiots; hahaha,love them.
The pointless cutaway to Steve and his “parents” absolutely sent me
I think the anonymous letter writer was Groucho Marx. He is stalking Dave here: 3:04. You can see him over Dave's right shoulder. Perhaps he actually signed the letter, but his signature had faded since he died in 1977. I don't know. Could be.
Wow, great video.
Dave won that bet!💰
A funny Viewer Mail segment that had a surprise for Dave. Clever!
"Hey! Hey! Billy! I'm talking to you!"
The generic sounding but useful “National Council of Churches’ label would be retained.
Off. The. Wall!
