Welcome to the Letterman YouTube Channel, home to all your favorite clips from Late Night and Late Show – as well as conversations with the writers, producers and performers who helped make it all happen. The language may strike you as quaint & flowery, the clothing comically lacey & ornate — but that’s how things were back in this colorful and now bygone era.

hi
LOL!
letterman invented the reaction format you found now on youtube
I think we need to hear from Howard
This was basically DVD commentary in 1988.
His name used to be Gurtner?
Fun fact: This “Dave Watches the Re-run” Late Night aired on December 30, 1988. It was at the end of a week of repeats, and there was no publicity beforehand.
I think you should show the video about the renovation of the Ed Sullivan Theater with "Say You, Say Me" from Dave's first CBS show. It was pretty damn funny.
Dave Reacts. 😄
Would love to see a now gen Dave, (and team) add third layer of commentary on some of these.
David Letterman was able to get away with reacting to old episodes of his show back then. This is why he will always be awesome.
Only Merrill got her wish? Is that what I heard?
Man… my mail is just seems so boring.
What's this 💩. ,, Please drop a safe onto a Buick, again. Thank you.
love dave king of late night
The cigar and the recliner David…was there a drink anywhere…love the way you lie
The pencil throw!!! Classic Letterman flashback💖💖💖. The creative fun that hooked me at a young age. Thank you all for your creativity, intelligence, and comedy!
All of these years later, and I can still taste Hal's chili.
I’d love to see Dave today react to some of his old bits.
A reaction show?! Dave was a few decades ahead of his time, and now it's on this very medium…
Dear Dave, is it too late to submit questions to Viewer Mail?
Worth the Weight with Al Frisch."I'm stumped…" low budget comedy gold
