Here’s the January videochat. There was a short recap on some SKG news, the rest of it was the usual rambling. Some of the topics were games to live in, VR, PirateSoftware drama, and Dead Hand. I semi-lost my voice at one point, but it came back.
EDIT: I’ve been informed by people that the Discord admin, Spagelo, is a woman, not a man. Oops. In my defense, I also forgot the name of a mapper who has assisted me for years during the stream (Toby Eichhorst). I think not enough oxygen gets to my brain during these chats sometimes.

If you want a fun dystopia you should really be looking at Judge Dredd (the comics, not the movies.)
I think the piece of media that actually nailed it best was the video game, Judge Dredd: Dredd vs Death. Not a great game, all things considered, but it gets the absurdity of the setting right.

It's a good week for awful people having an awful time in video games. First Elon now PirateSoftware, gotta love it.
Also I love how stone cold Ross is about the whole situation. Ross' spat with the guy doesn't make him care more or less about his public standing, he only cares how it affects the SKG campaign. Good for him. Reminds me a bit about that Gabe Newell interview where he explains a shark trying to bite him didn't bother him at all.
One more contender for interesting worlds to live in is Hyperion. Before everything goes to shit they have actual AGI, a cyberspace you can conciously enter like an out of body experience, and friggin teleportation! It's awesome.

Just, as a note, even though gender is being taught now in a way that isn’t completely detrimental and life threatening to people who do not fit in the traditional, occidental heteronormative 2 gender binary. A lot of medical professionals, even the older ones, are not that well informed. Because gender identity isn’t just a medical thing. Psychologists I’m less worried about lol.
Debates have nothing to do with truth and everything to do with winning. That's the problem with BS, mis and disinformation. People who spread it can say whatever it takes to win over the audience. That's why politics is BS today because "we" think debates have anything at all to do with truth.

The speed of the EU initiative has slowed down a bit, everyone needs to spread the word! It cannot be allowed to fail! Ross has given everyone a chance to fix the problem in the gaming industry, we should use the opportunity while it exists! Tell your friends, relatives, explain why it's so important and how to support it!

I was so happy to see Thor taken down a few notches. I really liked the guy, and much like everyone else thought he was a chill dude. But the last few months, pretty much since the response to SKG, the mask has pretty much dropped and shown that he’s a self indulgent jackwad with no functioning people skills.

LukeRoss's Cyberpunk VR mod works just fine with DLSS. I needed it to even get smooth VR performance. Don't know about the free vorpx cyberpunk mod that you sounded interested in since it's more like theater mode.
