A gunman opened fire at a vehicle carrying Pakistan’s former prime minister Imran Khan on Thursday, wounding him slightly and injuring some of his supporters.

Pakistanis are protesting for elections as they believe it's their right to elect a leader to rule over them and not Americans to impose thugs and corrupt elite over them to safeguard American interests instead of those of the people of Pakistan.

  9. Imran Khan is a gutsy and bold leader who has NO fear of death – we all gonna die one day – His aim is to demolish the shackle of corruption and the same law for everybody in Pakistan. He is the best leader in Pakistan since we got independence from Great Britain on 14 August 1947. Entire Pakistanis all over the globe pray for his speedy recovery. The good news is that 3 bullets were taken out of his leg. He already addressed the nation from his hospital bed in Lahore. This afternoon and instructed his followers to continue to protest around the country until the three guys should resign from Government. Number one Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Number two Rana Sana Ullah Interior Minister, and Third Pak Amry Faisal. Imran Khan ZINDABAD and long life – Three cheers for Imran Khan – Hip – Hip Hooray!

  15. This is the first time that every Pakistani knows who is behind this. It's corrupt mafia present in ruling government and in the army. Arshad Sharif, a investigative journalist, was shot dead in Kenya last week because he was going to expose these mafia with evidence. Imran Khan is a light of hope for all Pakistanis who are suffering for last 75 years because these mafias never allowed honest leader to rule the country.
