but he has to remember… he just pushes a button for the computer to do the work, not him !
all that calculation comes from somewhere and i really really doubt it is from his own mind.
yeah kids… they ar elike… in 3 weeks i can do that… then they do… 10 years later… thats a game for the kids, im too old for that now. so yeah, lesson learned, don't screw your entire life by accepting screw up just because you can… as you get older, your body will tell you what was a mistake and what was not.

yeah, thats why batch copying was a better way then just model each scales…
its exponential when you srat copy 1 to 2, then 2 to 4, then 4 to 8, then 8 to 16. by the time you reached 64 you pretty much all had your mail done. but now a day people just push buttons and everything is done by the computer… soon it will be easy for people to do everything and the computer will do it entirely for them. in reality, computers is making too accessible… now everyone can be a computer wiz and just do art… which makes us drawing people look bad in comparision… it really sucks now…
i get that… but ever since soul caliber 2 decided to have cutscenes in game engines… as well as the DoA games…
i rather have in-game cutscenes. i think the seamless iterations are just that much more immersive. so yeah i rather have a lower experience in quality but it being in-game cutscene then having full blown movie realism while thegame itself is 10 times lower quality. like in warcraft 3, when cinematics started it was good… but seeing the camera go down to the character in-game and then having them play out a scene, made it much more immersive to me. and i think a lot of genres would be better off with that kind of stuff.
I really wish they would have talked about redesigning the Gravemind!

Dunno if this would be good for one of your videos, but I've been forever gushing over how Oddworld 1 & 2's graphics, cinematics included, looked unbelievably good for when they came out in… 1999? 1997!! In a time were every other studio was still figuring out this new 3D thing, Oddworld's animations were so fluid and the expressions so dynamic! They looked better than later Final Fantasy cinematics. They must have had some kind of prodigy wizard working at Oddworld Inhabitants, I can't explain it any other way.

I just had an idea for your great and bad CGI episodes. Television Commercials. I was thinking about old video games commercials and I remembered these series of weird and creepy ones PlayStation had for a time. Especially the one called “Mental Wealth,” it seemed pretty impressive for 1999, the year it came out, when I was watching it.
The reason all these scenes are CGI is so you don't actually have to film actors and sets.
The one thing that still requires an actor is the dialogue. I think the next big thing should be voice synthesis so you don't need the recording studio.

maybe its just that i primarily play games on playstation.. but this episode was kind of a waste on me, as ive never played any of these games.
You guys really need to look at “Tales from the Loop” it’s so well done! The cgi looks amazing and sometimes wonky!
Competition is a good thing. That's why Star Wars games have kind of sucked for the last 10 years. Because EA didn't have any competition whatsoever. They had no reason to make a good game because they were the only ones that were allowed to make Star Wars games. I'm ecstatic that their exclusivity deal is coming to an end.
