  1. Do the new Troll movie when it comes out, and then at the same time include the 2010 movie Trollhunter (Trolljegeren)! Would be fun to see how you react to the representation of these norse mythical creatures.

  2. May we have a 'VFX Artists React to Bad & Great Water Scenes CGi'? Not specifically the water itself but scenes underwater or involving water. I know there have been a few episodes with scenes, but a full episode would be great!

  3. @Niko – Suggestion: Compare War of the Worlds versions over the years. Just seen the 2021 version with Tom Sizemore. It's, not bad but it's obviously 'cheap' compared to Spielberg. My question is; It's been 17 years and graphics have improved a lot. Why doesn't the new one look 'better'?

  4. The frighteners!! So that's what it was! I was starting to think I had imagined that movie, I remember being blown away by it as a kid when it was on the TV somewhere once but I could never find out since then what it was I was starting to wonder if I'd imagined it! Why don't people talk about this movie

  5. That cloth effect near the pool isn't CGI. or if it is, it's badly done. the subsurface scattering on the sheet is showing a "shadow" of the green morph suit wearing person, the light doesn't shine through the cloth as if it's two thicknesses separated by "air" instead the subsurface response seems like two thicknesses of cloth and a person blocking the light. (Don't look at the edges, look at the main "mass" of where the head is)

So it's almost certainly a morph suit roto.

  6. For your next reaction to animation, PLEASE check out the new live action Pinocchio! I'm watching it right now with gritted teeth cause it looks SO BAD! Like seriously awful, it looks like a mid 2000's low budget film. They spent all their money on Tom Hanks and had nothing left for the effects budget I think.

  7. I think you should react to the latest Doctor Who visual effects from John Smith. He posted a visual effects breakdown on his YouTube channel and a lot of the visual effects were made by himself working at home
