Episode Description
We learned some big news about #Mirage Las #Vegas this week that will see the end of two popular venues at the hotel when it changes ownership to Hard Rock later this year. The Dolphin Habitat and Secret Garden attractions are now permanently closed following a temporary closure after a dolphin died a couple of months ago. What will replace this
area under Hard Rock ownership?
In other #news you can save 50% off on many popular Vegas Cirque shows for Black Friday including the new Mad Apple, KA, Love and more. We also discuss the Raider’s potential new “Win City” slogan, food carts coming to the Strip, an update on the new downtown Wildfire Casino and we update you on the Resorts World robbery where they found a suspect who allegedly carried out the crime and returned to the scene.

I"m actually glad that the Secret Garden is closing. They have a horrible record when it comes to the dolphins there. I admit that I once did a Trainer for a Day thing before I knew more about dolphins in captivity. That was in 2007 and I worked with almost every dolphin there and at this point in time every one of them has died except for about 2 plus some who were born after I was there. 16 in total have died in their care.
When The Supreme Court allowed it up to the state to allow sports gambling a couple years ago, that opened up the flood gates for all major sport to come into Vegas.
I’m glad they are closing the secret garden/dolphin habitat. It doesn’t belong in LV. I hope they use the land for other purposes than a pool such as additional shops and restaurants since the Mirage only had a couple of shops and restaurants. Maybe a food court similar to Resort World would be good here.
The mirage was the best looking hotel on the strip because of the water features and The Beatles picture
Thank you guys 19 minutes full of information .Great job.
Good on the dolphin habitat. That was torture of those poor animals. It never should have been there.
Cirque tickets “UP TO 50% OFF”. Lots of room for interpretation on what qualifies for 50% off?
Best food ever (carts)
Question about the food carts: Do they have a permit to sell food on the Strip? What would happen if someone gets sick from eating there and the person sues them? Even the hot dog carts in Mexico look more modern like Mark said. The carts look like the ones that are use to carry stuff around the house.
P.S: Happy belated Thanksgiving from Mexico. 🇲🇽❤
Eating unregulated hot dogs is part of the thrill
IHOP SUCKS… And they build it in a poor neighborhood.!! Go Figure..
food carts like NY ? try Tijuana.
Just "Win City" Baby !!!
Hope the animals are not sold off to another place of captivity so that they continue to be used as entertainment. They deserve to have their freedom. Chances are slim but hope they get rehabilitated at a wildlife conservation sanctuary
This closed casino could be a new housing authority apartments for low income people and immigrants .
Plane Jane Is Mgm Detroit It Sucks
It is sad to see the garden go – but, as Siegfried has said "There is no Siegfried without Roy, and there is no Roy without Siegfried." That being said, Siegfried and Roy were groundbreakers when it came to upping the level of entertainment that they brought to the Las Vegas Strip. I hope that there is a place for them in the history of Vegas – they were true magicians, able to enchant the people who came to see them.
A bunch of Food Carts on The Las Vegas Stip⁉️🙄.. Welcome to the New L.A.⁉️‼️🥴
I'll not eat any of them food cart 🤔
There's no way in hell I don't ever buy food from one of those illegals and their food carts, you'd be insane to eat anything from those bastards….smmfh
Maybe they can get rid of that ugly ass statue while they're at it
jerks investigate before u cry
As of today MGM was still taking reservations at the Mirage for May 2023. I didn't want to chance it so staying at a different property.
Why do you demand regulations? In Asian countries no one dies by eating fresh food, in America, everything must be regulated? IDIOTIC.
Great video guys !
They should use the head bust and dolphin statues, and a mini valcano and lazy river pool that pays homage to original property…. And why would they get rid of the love show…..it's music and original Rock…. The Hard Rock casino in NE Ohio was music themed and a great place to go! The memorabilia was fantastic !
I'm surprised that the Cirque du Soleil has llasted this long… the entire concept seems as stale and passe as the topless reviews of the mid 1900s.
I predict the Raiders will do well for a long time, good record no withstanding. They are one of 5-6 franchises that draw regardless, like the Cowboys, Packers, and a few others. Also, many fans of visiting teams who live in the Western US will go.
Will the Siegfred/ Roy statue remain where it is currently?
Zubaid Al Idioti
remember USA they just want your money – they know your gonna pay. in mexico people live love and laugh and the regulations are not as tight and there is no corporate big wig and high cost of insurance, benefits and wages..
Really looking forward to the new Hard Rock! And Chriss Angel’s show was one of the best I’ve ever seen 😉 magic, metal and good looking dancers!
Those food carts do not pay their fair share of taxes, business license, follow food code, etc.
You're missing the big picture guys.. These groups all Mexican are Converging on Las Vegas Night life. They show up With supported musical groups with equipment and musicians. 5 or 10 guys with huge coolers full of beer and water right out in front the food carts.
Street Meat Test – the longest lines are likely the safest. Before entering, however – ask for reviews.
Sad to see the Mirage go! I visited the first year it was opened and went almost every year up to this past June except for one year during Covid. My friends and family loved the pool area and witnessed many changes over the years. Good bye to an iconic venue.
💜☮️
Sad about Mirage but glad we made sure to stay there one last time this summer…. cant wait to see whats to come…
What?! No Criss Angel Black Friday deals? Heard they were 100% off 🤣
Dirty Dawg is the best hot dog in Vegas
what does Vegas offer without Casinos???
I think the California political mentality is checking the waters for their screwed up free thinking policies on the food carts.
As Far as the robber goes –Put Him in Lake Mead! That will fix him!
The safety of the animals are priority
Those are the hot dog carts that are after every sporting event in Los Angeles. If they taste like LA then they are actually pretty good.
Similar food carts were at EDC. One of the event staff said don't eat that as I was walking over to one. They weren't allowed to be at the event. And at a previous event the guy worked at, he had to deal with multiple food poisoning complaints.
