Hard Rock International officially took control of #Mirage Las #Vegas this week. With the transition comes a new player’s club, but that also means a potentially lucrative status match opportunity. There were some woes with the transition though. We’ll discuss them.

I stay at Aria multiple times each year. I don’t think anyone was more excited for Proper Eats than me and I was there on opening day. I have to say that the pizza was very disappointing. The Money Line pizza on the casino level is a lot better.
Also, if anyone thinks that pedestrian traffic is fine on the strip, they need to try and cross the street at the entrance to Paris. I can’t believe how many people disregard the stop/walk signs and just about get hit.
It’s great that the entire strip has bollards protecting pedestrians from crazy people driving on the walkway. It’s a shame that it took multiple people dying before that happened. Vegas needs to change how pedestrians and vehicles interact on the strip before people die, not after.

As far as Mirage it was our go to. Also our host was there, he stayed. We will give it a try. We are high level Platinum Suites Limos all food comped. Lets see if Hard Rock treats us as good. Love the show guys Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year to you both.
I wish they would sort out the homeless issue on the strip, its getting worse, my wife and I was there this week, lots of homeless sleeping in the footbridge lifts, so you cant use them. some have mental issues, its a shame for them, but the tourist area is overridden with them, it was not that bad three years ago. and yes many of the escalators were broken, we are elderly so its tiring after walking along the strip. hardly any buffets left, only breakfast and brunch on certain days, no dinner buffets unless you go to the more expensive hotels. prices are through the roof, but we went to Ellis island for their cheap breakfast and La Salsa in Mile High shopping. I think the quality of food has lowered as well, we have been going to Vegas since 1998. The resort fee is a killer for us seniors. it should be banned.

If it’s too expensive to make the entire Strip pedestrian-only, they could keep the major cross-streets (Tropicana, Flamingo, Spring Mountain and Sahara) as-is with better maintained pedestrian bridges, and close off the smaller streets to make pedestrian only zones. Of course, Formula 1 is more important to Clark County and the casino operators than their guests safety.
Vegas is a black hole of theft, the billionaires should be ashamed of how they rob their player and number one situation they created and must correct is program to bring the homeless off the streets. It’s in their interest but they won’t, Vegas is over in my opinion. As for the hard rock Seminole Indians they should not be able to buy land anywhere and claim it as a reservation or buy such from the government.
Robbing a casino in the mob days you would just disappear but you wouldn’t have spit on the sidewalk either.
Pizza itself sucks many chains cutting down on quality. A lot of frozen pizza doesn’t even have real pepperoni or sausage.
I used to love Vegas and traveled their often. Love to gamble and LOVED the dining options. They had great restaurants, great buffets, great coffee shops. Most everything 24 hours and the prices were REASONABLE if not cheap! The food was delicious. There were always specials to be had. They used to have great deals on steak dinners and breakfast from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Now, its all gone. There's no real reason to visit anymore. We have about 5 casinos within a 15 minute to one hour drive from our home. We enjoyed our dining out as much as our gambling but now, Vegas has nothing special to offer anylonger so we go to our local casinos. Vegas has lost it appeal. Just my opinion and I'm sure the Vegas casinos and tourism commission couldn't care less what I or others have to say.
Unity is STILL having issues at the Mirage. I was told slot play might not be tracked and I can’t spend my Unity points on property as of last night.
I think even if you get comp offers for mirage now, the deal is not as good as when it is MGM, as even as unity icon, there is no benefits for waived resort fee unlike as MGM gold, hard rock is charging $39/night resort fee at mirage
That's a really bad start by Hard Rock. The last thing we need is more of the same at the Mirage property.Great update guys!

Need to have the mob run Vegas again. I am willing to bet that there would be no casino robberies. If there were, it wouldn’t end well for the robber. Sick of the pussy management that lets people walk out after robbing the place.
Gee Vegas Dealers complaining about lack of tips. First do the dealers realize tips are not to be expected. Second, maybe the dealers should get a real job.
