Uttarakhand Tunnel: How 900mm Pipes, Drills, Will Rescue 40 Workers From Char Dham Tunnel



the under-construction tunnel in Uttarakhand has collapsed trapping 40 workers from Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Odisha, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh for 2 days now. They are being given food, water and oxygen through pipes. The 4.5-km tunnel is a part of the Char Dham all-weather road project. The Rs 12,000-crore highway expansion road will connect Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri and is expected to cut down the distance by 26 km. Watch how the rescue ops are underway
