  3. Hey History Channel, add Tales of the Gun/Guns of the World to this channel for viewing and posterity.

    Once you've done that, bring back actual history to the TV channel. Not pawn shops, garage salers, swamp hillbillies, aliens, knife competitions, paranormal crap, mountain men, or truckers on ice.

    No reality TV shows, just documentaries!
    Almost as if you're a channel about historical events or something??

  5. Other than Pearl Harbor, the first battle I learned about, as a young kid, was of Midway. I was, and still am, so fascinated by it. I viewed the Yorktown as my hero. Being a bit goofy, I got a CB radio in the early 70s. My handle was "CV-5 Yorktown." I still read everything I can about it. Those men and that ship will never leave my memory. If you get the chance, read "The U.S.S. Yorktown at the Battle of Midway: No Higher Honor" By Jeff Nesmith.
