The USS YORKTOWN IS ONE OF THE GREATEST SHIPS EVER🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 I LOVE THIS SHIP AND ALL THE GREAT MILITARY THAT WERE SERVING ON HER AT ANY GIVEN TIME 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💞🤗💞🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 I SALUTE YOU ALL🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
38 million for two aircraft carriers, back when money was real.
Hey History Channel, add Tales of the Gun/Guns of the World to this channel for viewing and posterity.
Once you've done that, bring back actual history to the TV channel. Not pawn shops, garage salers, swamp hillbillies, aliens, knife competitions, paranormal crap, mountain men, or truckers on ice.
No reality TV shows, just documentaries!
Almost as if you're a channel about historical events or something??
I pray for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and for their precious families and their precious crew members who are family also 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💞🤗💞 I LOVE YOU ALL💞🤗💞🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏🙏
Other than Pearl Harbor, the first battle I learned about, as a young kid, was of Midway. I was, and still am, so fascinated by it. I viewed the Yorktown as my hero. Being a bit goofy, I got a CB radio in the early 70s. My handle was "CV-5 Yorktown." I still read everything I can about it. Those men and that ship will never leave my memory. If you get the chance, read "The U.S.S. Yorktown at the Battle of Midway: No Higher Honor" By Jeff Nesmith.
Seeing the stars and stripes raised during the final moments of midway and shes still.swinging and taking the hits….. Yorktown was the baddest mf on the seas 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Can you believe the Japanese store do USS Yorktown was a ghost ship it had been repaired so quickly that’s amazing to me
