  1. They probably spent a billion or more stopping an assault that cost millions. They did a great job; don't get me wrong. The sheer coordination involved was incredibly impressive. However, a more cost efficient way of interdicting this type of attack must be found; otherwise, we will go bankrupt doing it. The only other criticism I have is the whole putting the female pilot front and center once again. We've been doing the whole Gramsci-Marxist DEI – Feminism focus and it's ruining the Armed Forces and the culture in general. The reality is that all the pilots did a good job and she was just one of them. It's unnecessary and annoying to constantly fawn over females just doing their jobs. I hope they will get back to treating everyone the same.

  2. They should pull from the black budget to get the NGAD up and running and consider doubling the amount of them to be built.

The F35S will not always be able to get a kill in a BVR engagement. "You should always carry a knife in the dark" or in a fight in this case. You can only upgrade the F35 so much. Building a jet from the ground up with the best options is always the best option. You will have the "unibody" (as I like to call it) that you could build new and different types of jets from so you don't need a new 'from the ground up' design you want a new jet with new capabilities. Over the long run, that alone will keep costs down on future jets.

Pull from the black budget. Given our GDP, I'm sure we can handle it.

  3. I am a Canadian that has a lot of respect for all of the hard work you do on a daily basis to keep us Military Flyers up to date with everything and anything. My Dad would be so hooked on what you do. He was a Canadian Navy Flyer who died at Sea while on NATO Exercises Nov 07, 1971 when his SeaKing Helicopter went down at sea. Once again Thank You on behalf of all of us that watch daily and don’t leave comments! Thank you again from Michael M. Halifax NS Canada šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦

  4. I'm curious as with the advent of "low" cost drones, what would be a practical defense against them. I'm guessing the cost of keeping a jet in the air and the weapons that were employed, cost a lot more than those drones. During a more significant attack, it doesn't seem sustainable and even in this case, they seem to have issues keeping up with supplying the jets with enough ordinance.

  5. Maintainers make it happen in Real Time! Ground Crews are as important as the Pilots in the jets. The fact that these airmen thought on their feet to keep these aircraft in the fight, is what it is all about!!! Great Job Crews!!!

  6. We shouldn’t be spending our money and resources (and most importantly, risking our soldier’s lives) to defend a country we have never even signed a defense agreement with. They aren’t our ally.

And that’s all without mentioning that their leadership currently have arrest warrants for war crimes resulting in countless innocents getting killed.

  7. I remember seeing that fight! I don’t understand how that many missiles and jets from everywhere in a small area were able to do such an amazing job without running over each other.
I know they have radar. I know the Jets now do a lot of the work for the pilots but WOW! Out of this world!!
Making the u-turns fuel, weapons then back in the air so fast!!
I just made a shout out comment to the pilots when the news seemed to be giving all the credit to the ā€œIronDomeā€. ā€œBest Pilots Ever!!!ā€
Then another night when they flew what seemed hundreds of jets into Iran to get a preemptive strike along with B-1B Supersonic Bombers was amazing flying and coordination. The B-1B flew from TX, hit its target in Iran then back without touching the ground!! 😱. HolyšŸ„

I have been watching this since Oct 7th with so many others. I am truly proud of the pilots, ground crews, and command through all of this. I pray for continued safety of you all along with Israel and other countries helping eliminate these evil monsters. I wish the hostages could be brought home now too! I have a lot of family retired after 20yrs military.
My Father was NAVY through Korea
Two cousins in AirForce through 3 times sent to Gulf Wars.
I have a cousin survived BlackHawk Down.
I have a cousin in Vietnam.
So many further back to all wars in America. I’m sure a lot of Americans are very proud of family in military services.

Thank you to all of you helping Israel!!

  8. The US would be wise to start investing in more military drones of its own. The MQ-9, MQ-1C, and RQ-180 are valuable assets for recon and attack, but we need drones with loitering attack capabilities as well.

  9. There is another component of this story that I wonder how many outsides of military intelligence realize. The world was watching this. This was a massive attack and a true tests of western air defense systems. The fact this was done, this success rate against all these different systems, is important. This was a test to see who the U.S. Isreal, and other Allies could deal with this type of an attack. And the rose to the challenge. Military Planers in Russia, China, Iran, and others have taken note, and are concerned.

  10. Sorry for the stupid question, but why not stingers for missions like this ? Yes I know they’ve never been on a fighter jet as far as I know , but why not ? You could pack 15 or 20 on an aircraft like a F 15 .

  11. ICTS… We were doing just that, preparing the French aircraft to return to the air asap. Refueling and rearming, some guys on the bombs and some on the guns. The French Air Force Generals were timing us with stop watches in their hands and when the plane left the hangar on its way to the runway for its next flight, they were shaking their heads in amazement and disbelief, speaking French among themselves and the Moroccans among us were quietly translating what they were saying. After the plane left we all assembled in a line some at attention some at ease and some just hanging relaxed. We did not look like an air crew or even like soldiers, some had their ranks pinned on to their shirt sleeves and most did not. The group of Frenchmen eventually came over and looked at us and then one of them started clapping and the rest followed. Thats when we knew for sure that we had impressed them. Then we started clapping and then the officer who brought the Frenchmen grumbled at us and told us to stop "behaving like idiots". So we stopped clapping. Then we asked our Officer what they were clapping about and he said they were impressed by our speed and how everything went so smoothly. Then he decided to order us to stand at attention. Half the guys did not know how to do it properly. We saluted the visitors, but we could not wipe the grins off our faces, and they saluted us very smartly and then they went away. I am still proud of that event.

  12. Thanks Joe Biden for your feckless foreign policy in allowing Iran to make heroes out of our dedicated military personnel. Fortunately, This time none of them paid the ultimate sacrifice for your incompetence.

  13. Love seeing the US spend even MORE money defending Israel.

It's not like they lied to us to trick us into invading Iraq in 2003 or anything.

No. That DEFINITELY didn't happen when The Israeli PM lied to the US Congress and told them, unequivocally, that Iraq was months away from developing nukes.

This was a lie that would cost my friends their lives.
