Yemen’s Houthi rebels who have claimed responsibility for recent attacks in the Red Sea are suspected to be behind the incident.
The Iranian-backed Houthis have been targeting commercial shipping in the sea over recent weeks.
The attacks are in response to Israel’s ground invasion of Gaza.
Two of the world’s biggest shipping lines, Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd, have suspended operations in the Red Sea over the recent threats.
