I believe stat wise the ray gun mk2 can actually kill more zombies longer as the headshot multiplier allows one shot headshot into the 50s or 60s and a one burst headshot into the 70s and that’s not including the penetration effect of it being able to go through a whole horde
I know a challenge that nobody wants to do. Go on Cold War, use melee as your primary and pack every melee to max level. Gold and level 3. You can have other weapons, but you have to get those. Good luck 👍🏽

Melee I am excited for… I love Melee's. Bowie knife. Balistic Knife, the challenges in Gorod and Revelations… The special weapons in BO3 and 4… (The sword in SAO, and most of bo4's is a melee) the sickle… Galva knuckles… All of them are going to be a great time to watch and see… Oh and you can't forget the golden spork in mob/blood!
And of course the stake that you brought up.

I’ve heard that the BO4 Wunderwaffe chains more when you headshot, so it is usually a 3-chain but headshots make it more?
one of my favorite weapons in zombies was definitely the crossbow in black ops 1 it went from a pretty underwhelming weapon to basically the 3rd best weapon on kino once you pack it and I've had it save me so many times when i haven't gotten monkeys or haven't gotten a max ammo to refill the monkeys in a while.
the Crossbow is just really nice to have on a simple map like kino
I wouldnt call the Ray Gun MK. III a "Ray Gun", its more or less the Wave Gun Mk. II, damn near same design with better functionality eithout the ability to combine them together…
