  1. They will probably add some mobile order kiosks where you can mobile order for any restaurant so if your phone is dead, you can still get food. Then they can have one or two people manning the kiosk instead of multiple workers at each restaurant.

  2. The kid that climbed to the top of the "Skull Island" sign was encouraged to do so by the parents/adults so they could snap a picture, according to the person who videoed it. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I don't know why some people are just so disrespectful of the rules.

  3. Complications with only mobile order: gift cards. Universal needs to update the app to allow the addition of gift card balances. Also, renewing the Coca Cola Freestyle cups. I mobile ordered at Burger Digs and renewed my cup(that was an option on the app) but the food pick up window had no idea what to do with me, because the renewal pads are at the registers. It was a mess for the poor people working there.

  4. I understand why they are aiming to go mobile-only, but I still don't like it. I'd probably be one of those who would look to eat elsewhere. 🙁 I don't like doing anything with money, or tied to my debit/credit card, on my cell phone. (and yes, I know it's a "me problem" but I seriously doubt I'm the only one.)

  5. Any chance of getting a more thorough video explaining mobile ordering? How it works, which restaurants have it, which restaurants require it, where pick up is for the restaurants? I'm visiting in a few months and completely confused by it.

  6. If they’re going to do Mobile Order Only, it would probably be best to have someone on standby with a mobile pad with a card swiper to assist those who have phone issues. I feel a McDonald’s style kiosk might cause congestion. Whoever is running the pad could be someone who is given alternate responsibilities until a customer needs help. That way you don’t have to hire someone exclusively. Happy customers, happy bean counters.
