I am Canadian/German heritage. I have never seen the hand kiss by any European in Canada or from an Asian in Canada. Mainly because my dad is a house painter so his hands would have chemicals on them, is a possibility. No, he is not a Nazi…he got out of Germany when he could(when the family could afford it) I have never seen this hand gesture being asked of me by any nationality, by any age. Mind you I do not know of any Turks. That is totally messed up. My custom is to first spit on the hand with a greenie. People are so weird. In Ukraine, the national hero Stepan Bandera, who worked with Nazi Germany, nationalist battalions with SS symbols are legalized and are part of the army, and the Nazis are Russians for some reason.
In Russia, the ancestors who fought Fascism are called heroes, and in Ukraine the "red army" that defeated the fascists and its symbols are prohibited by law – but for some reason the Nazis are Russia))))
