Unveiling the Deployment of Russian Mi-28N Choppers in Donetsk

Entering the next chapter of the unfolding Ukrainian saga, the spotlight now shines on the deployment of RuAF Mi-28N Choppers in Donetsk. The war narrative takes a fresh twist, akin to reading a suspenseful book where each page turned unveils a new layer of intrigue. The news surrounding these helicopters has taken center stage, leaving us eagerly anticipating the surprises and developments that lie ahead in this evolving story.

A significant element of concern arose from the latest involvement of the Mi-28N helicopters in Ukraine’s tumultuous landscape. While the United States had chosen the path of modernizing its existing Apache fleet, Russia had taken a bolder stride, introducing entirely new helicopter models for the 21st centuryβ€”namely, the MI-28 and the Ka-52. This audacious endeavor had bestowed upon them a technological edge, positioning them advantageously against international competitors. The Mi-28, a modern successor to the Soviet-era Mi-24, stood shoulder to shoulder with NATO’s apex attack helicopter, the AH-64 Apache. This choice spoke volumes about Russia’s commitment to innovation and staying ahead in the arms race.

  2. We have been told that russia does not have the capacity to manufacture high-tech weapons because the sanctions work. We have also been told officially that Russia uses washing machine parts to make weapons. Can these claims that we have been told be true?

  3. The Mi-28N has the moniker "Night Hunter". However all footage of its use in the SMO is during daylight hours. That is a tactical error, in my view, of using such a powerful force multiplier in such an inappropriate manner (as a daylight attack chopper when in fact it is optimised for nighttime operation under the cover of darkness). Especially since the effectiveness of shoulder fired SAM's are greatly reduced at night, not to mention the element of surprise that the darkness brings.

  4. I wonder why Russia choose to produce over 100 Mi-28Ns after already making over 120 Ka-52s. Ka-52s were superior in almost every way so i wonder why we're seeing more and more Mi-28s being produced

  6. Russia desperately needs a better next gen heli platform, mi28 was fine last century, but has proven to be more of a liability in modern day warfare (can be taken out by a $20k antiair missile) thus cant engage head on, only standoff missions a few KM from the frontlines.

  7. Your history is certainly tainted by the collective west's narrative. The ethnic Russians Ukrainian citizens in eastern ukraine rose up to fight against a government who was put into power via a coup d'Δ—tat (funded and backed by the U.S. and NATO countries) over a democratically elected government, which if say a non-friendly-to-the-west country had done this, the U.S. and European countries would be screaming in the UN, but because these were ethnic Russians, the U.S. and European countries backed it and said it was okay. The Biden State Dept. admitted that they were the ones who installed the coup government. This was 2014 and the eastern ukraine citizens were fighting against an illegitimate non-democratic government. This government immediately put ethnic discrimination laws into effect such as outlawing the teaching of Russian language and Russian history was removed from textbooks, all public and government documents were not to be printed in the Russian language, the Russian Orthodox Church was to turn over all property to the Ukrainian Orthodox church (then I believe they changed it to the government), additional taxes, and on and on. Soldiers from the neo-nazi units who report directly to zelensky and ultranationalist military units would randomly target apartment buildings, markets, bus stations, theaters and other public places to shoot rifles or to shell, even though the few people that were resistors did not use these places to hide and shoot from. Random children were shot and killed by snipers while walking with a parent to school. A few women were raped. All this was reported to the UN, but the U.S. made sure nothing came of it. 14,000 children, women and men were killed by their own country led by a psychopaths! The people of the Donbass went to Russia to ask for help and when the Duma told President Putin to tell them they would have to de lare independence just the same as Kosovo did before Russia could aid them militarily and so they did, and the Duma voted to help them. Contrary to what people believe, President Putin could not and did not make the decision to help the people of eastern ukraine militarily, only the Duma can and they did. President Putin can order the military to assist eastern ukraine after the vote from the Duma, kind of how it's supposed to be in the U.S. after some of the most brutal acts against these citizens by ukraine's neo-nazi forces and intelligence indicating a major military move by zelensky against the Donbass after he followed Boris' and Biden's wording not to sign the Istanbul accord, the Donbass knew if Russia left, the neo-nazi forces, such as Azov and ultranationalist units would descend upon eastern ukraine and there would be a genocide a d that's when they asked President Putin if there was a way they could become a part of Russia so they would be protected. That's a brief history of how we got here, though I left out how this mess goes back to just prior to 2008.
But thanks for your videos. I find them interesting as I'll have lots of info to discuss with my wife's cousins, one is an officer in tank command, the other an officer in helicopter group. But we haven't planned to go for a while.
