The king baboon spider, comes from an actual spider we call it Bobejaan spinnekop, and it's is harmless. But they can get as big as a serving plate. They usually crawl up to the fire to warm up when we go out camping. My husband and sons hate spiders so I usually carry them out of sight. You get one that is striped back and white and its gorgeous! But my boys wont ever let me keep one!
