Amazing job from Chris! i have seen many, many tutorials and this overview of 37! min just beat most 2 hr long tutorials out there!
Amazing. If anyone is struggling with the volumetric fog material. You need to put an exponential height fog on the scene and enable volumetric fog on details.
When I add the CustomBrush_Landmass blueprint brush the triangle shows up but I cant see the Splines. I cant seem to add more spline points or do anything other than move the initial pirimid. Does anyone know how to fix this? In the video he just starts clicking and adding new spline nodes, I have no idea how hes doing it.
Just decided I shall start to learn UE5 (been meaning to for ages), and this is really exciting to watch, thank you!

Hey so I followed the RVT tutorial exactly and double/triple checked everything, but I'm getting hard edge and blurry resolution on the Virtual texture on the mesh compared to the landscape. Please help, great tutorial btw, thank you!
I wanted to see that tentacle slap down on the structure to demo destruction physics!
i can't seem to find the project description below, am i looking at the right place?
Thanks for the lesson! Very useful!
What a time to be alive
Fantastic Tutorials
.
What a miracle that i can understand an english !
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Increasing grid size for the Modeling Mode is CMD+Q in MAC, but that key combination is for quitting the app on mac, how can I remap it?
so is this the beginning of what the machines will use to create our fake environment?
That is cool
This was awesome, really helping me with my university project as a game designer!
Tried the object material blending, but it won't work for me. My landscape to blend with is no actual landscape, but a huge nanite mesh. Is that the reason and if so, how do I achieve the same goal?
Chris Murphy you have done it again 😀 love the way you teach keep it up man.
When I try to use the RVTs it just makes all of my textures black…..
I Really wish this is slower. The tutorial is perfect its just too fast.
This is an excellent tutorial
I wanted to see an overview of what the engine is capable of. I didn't want to listen to you talk about making rooms, windows, and grids. This tells me nothing about Unreal 5. Also your voice is hard to understand. You slur your speech.
How do you get the volume effect to go on a different axis?
superb video. this is how all tutorials should be. Quick and efficient.
