You thought about merging the output from the original area to your factory area? And set up a small fuel factory in the original to keep miners and smelter running.

I like the idea of building a stupid long line of generators, then just walling it off so you don't have to look at it.
As a more realistic option, you could build a platform up the centre of the river with one waterwheel with a generator on either side of it, going forwards instead of sideways.
Turn the power plant 180 degrees and build giant lines down the river 😊
The only reason you didn't have a large output at the end, is because not all the generators were on the platforms. Looking forward to see the new power plant you build in the next episode.
17:57 power output 3450 no wheels and 16? converters, 34:48 power output 1350 with 10 water wheels and 17 converters. Are the water wheel setups actually less efficient, even though its automated?

you really need to automate things. You actually make less handcrafting. Like, I think with wire you handcraft 1 to 4, automated is 1 to 8. Just something to think about.
I think you can thresh the plantmatter fiber for fuel…

I feel like you could have a much more compact planter setup by just rotating them 90 degrees and running a single input and output belt instead of needing to use a huge mess of belts in-between each planter
I think maybe the water wheels are a 3 to 1 since one water wheel with two generators is 600 and it is still 600 with three generators.
Z1 you have more river you can put water wheels and generators on, you don't need to just make one line of power

33:56, I think you may be Confused… Capacity is not the same as Generating… its Generating 300. Capacity is the amount of Energy your batteries Can Store, and has nothing to do with Generating. meaning your Generator chain is powering nothing.

So I just got the game and in the starting area if you use the mole in that area you can get to the windowed area as you first come out and it has a ton of bio bricks in the area.

Z, buddy, you realize you can have more than one line of generators right? not to mention, you put crank gens on the water, your wasting space that could be used for the water wheels.
Z do it like factorio Steampower system 1 waterwheel and to generators combi nation like you build the first power in Factorio
