01:04:08 Quah question #1 – How do you find your ideal weight? I’m not sure where I should be.
01:11:32 Quah question #2 – I normally train with high intensity but leave a rep or two in the tank. Is going to failure every set better for hypertrophy?
01:15:31 Quah question #3- Are supersets necessary if time is NOT an issue?
01:18:14 Quah question #4 – If all affiliates are vetted for “our interest,” why do some get dropped? Did their product change?

Big congrats on new baby. I love listening to you guys it's like hanging out with the brothers I never had. Really enjoy the content you put out.
Wow, Congratulations Sal and Jessica on your bundle of joy
Hi i enjoy hearing your advice and perspective's, i am 24 super new to the fitness world. I bought the Maps Starter and im already feeling better and excited to keep working on my consistency. You all have helped my see past the influencers and actually get a better understanding on how to properly do techniques or what i should spend more time practicing so i appreciate y'all taking the time to talk with us thank you
Great content ! Long time listener, trying to do my best because I work in a gym and will further pursue greater personal trainer knowledge to benefit all clients. Inspirational. I will look into all MAPS PROGRAMS as well as further certifications. Thank you!
balance is the key! i ordered cheese from the shop you talked about-its awesome!
I think the 4 of you guys not only have a great message but the way in which you deliver it is amazing. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the dad talk I have a 2yo and another baby on the way coming February it is exciting and scary all at the same time to go from a child who sleeps pretty much through the night to start that battle with sleep all over again but the trade off of seeing your child grow is worth the sacrifice 10x over. so when you guys talk about your kids and parenting I always take something away from it so just a thank you for all you share with us. I started for the fitness tips but now I have to watch/listen to all of your podcasts/shows to consume all of the content. Keep up the great work!
I totally agree on taking off shoes. I always ask when I go to someone's home if they'd like me take my shoes off if I don't know their protocol. Look at the stuff you walk through everyday, especially in a Walmart parking lot, ha!
What people refer to as toxic masculinity isn't masculinity at all.
If anything, it's what comes out when you repress healthy masculinity.
You guys have motivated me so much, lost over 100 lbs since march and now getting into powerlifting! Thanks for all the great advice
Congratulations, Sal!!!!! 🎉
The Polybius myth, was debunked in the video game community ages ago. IIRC the developers wrote the lore around the game themselves (and were likely really stoned in the process). A few years ago, the head designer of Polybius made an updated one for VR that plays into the brainwashing and conspiracy stuff as a part of the game itself, and the game is actually really really good for a VR game. But I was probably brainwashed to say that. Edit: I say "for a VR game" because there aren't as many of those as there should be.
I have three boys and had a C-section with my first (after three days of labor) because his heart beat was dropping. After that I was told I could no longer give birth naturally. I had my 3rd son C-section as well but it almost killed me. After I had him I was in recovery and my uterus ruptured and I lost half my blood before anyone knew anything was wrong. The only way they could save me a that point was to do a partial hysterectomy. I would have loved to have given birth naturally but thank God everyday for my beautiful healthy children and the wonderful man that made them with me!!
Can confirm, the gift bags were sick.
So here's a question: what does "occasional" or "moderation" look like?
In my situation, I try to be flexible and I want to spend time with friends and family, and enjoy my time, but the issue is occasional for me feels like all the time.
I'm the healthy gym goer in my family, while my wife is not. I also have 2 kids. But it seems every weekend there's some sort of party or get together, and so it feels really challenging to stay on task. How can I do something occasionally if it comes up every week?
I hate having to answer why I'm not drinking or why I'm not eating certain food etc. Hearing the comments, the pressure, etc. I want to go and have a good time but I feel judged, which makes me want to skip the event.
Congratulations Sal. Many blessing to you and your family. Great show once’s again. Love coming back.
Did I win the contest?
Thanks so much for all your tips! I've recently lost 33lbs, and am looking forward to taking it to the next level with this bundle.
Congratulations Sal! I love that feeling of sitting with my kids and feeling so blessed. Our experience with child birth seems eerily similar to what you and your wife went through. Our first, who’s now 8 years old was supposed to be born in a birth center. My wife heard about the benefits both for her and the baby by avoiding the chain of interventions, and we dove in, took a birthing class together, hired a doula and midwife. Then like you experienced as well, ours went past the 2 weeks late deadline and labor started literally the next day, but our midwife informed us she could no longer legally deliver the baby. Off to the hospital we went, and just like we had heard may happen, the hospital treated it like an emergency and things quickly began heading south. My wife is INCREDIBLE, and despite all the pressure she resisted the attempts to get her onto the intervention bandwagon. It took a whole day and lots of tears but she pulled though with no pain meds or interventions.
After that she was sure she didn’t want to try again, but several years later and our next was on the way. This time was totally different and was a successful home birth with a birthing pool in our bedroom. Only hitch was the power went out in the midst of a thunder storm, but we just rolled with it and had an awesome rainy soundtrack by candle light. It was amazing. I got to catch the baby myself. Our next is now on the way!
Great podcast as always I feel I really need this. Focus more on health and longevity
Congratulations!
I really enjoy this type of content! Thank you so mcuh for talking about those important topics which the mainstream media avoids and hide from us. This channel is truely a life changer! Much love yo you guys! Be blessed! <3
Yump
I love you guys but it’s not fair to say you can’t have a full filling life without children, you can have an amazing life. Everyone’s story isn’t so black and white.
You guys are simply great!! Thanks for your energy!!
1:19:43 Hahaha, maybe it's my absurdist sense of humor but Adam here sounds like he's reassuring his kids that mommy and daddy still love each other. Other than that, super fun episode. Can't wait to see the live audience!
