Me who randomly found a shiny Gyarados in the cassaroya lake without any boosts-
Can I just say I really like the concept of moving O-Powers onto food? I really hope they keep this concept going forward and build on it because if they lean into the worldbuilding aspect of this it could add so much to the world. I mean it already does
I also enjoy building them and trying to make them look nice even though it doesn’t do anything. If it did matter that would be an improvement
I wish you could add your own recipes to the recipe menu as well. That would be very nice.
And one more thing. I expected I’d be able to tuck sandwiches away in my bag and save them for later. But that’s not how it works. That was mildly disappointing but it’s no big deal.
Personally though I don’t really like the sound of doing this. It feels like… like I get the powers this good because I work to get the Herbs Mystica, but then if you exploit a part of the game to get that without using your herba mystica, it’s almost like you’re circumventing the point
I don’t want to rule what others in the player base do, play how you want as long as you aren’t hacking. It’s just one of those things I don’t want to do off principle. Like using the hidden merchant chests in Skyrim.

I did this to catch my friend and I most of violets paradox's and got 13 total shinies but ever since then I havent seen a single shiny. I have more than 5 hours with level 3 shiny sandwiches and shiny charm but again as i said no shinies within sight. is this just unlucky or was i punished?

The ghost and fairy recipe doesnt work if you mix sweet and sour mysticas, it gives you catch power lv 3 instead encounter fyi.
I don’t pay nintendo to use my own damn wifi on the switch so getting salty myst alone is pretty much impossible for me. I have spicy, sweet and bitter which are all useless without salty. The games are bullshit!

i dont know why but recently the non salty recipes have been giving me catching power instead of encounter power is there a reason for this

There is a bug that's been found regarding the "burger" recipes, if you use a combination of sour and sweet HM, you'll get catching power instead of encounter power. Otherwise, you can mix and match HMs.
