Hey hey everyone! I’m away working on something very exciting and I can’t wait to share this with you soon. After the past few crazy weeks as we closed off from Starship Flight Test 7, I wanted to finally dive a little deeper and break from the news cycle just for a week. We talking about Unleashing the Power of SpaceX’s Starship. Why is it a Big Deal!? Well, it is clear from the relentless pace of the Starship development program that SpaceX are not joking about creating the world’s first fully and rapidly reusable rocket, and a huge one at that. How long it will take to nail this concept, and how much it will cost is still up for debate; however, based on the first few orbital flight tests alone, the cost of getting a serious amount of mass to orbit is about to plunge. What will the Starship program allow us to do, and why is it so very exciting!?

Looking forward for SpaceX orbital refueling service. Many satellites have end of life defined by the available propellant so you could extend lifespan of a satellite if a space tanker could fly by its side, refuel and continue to next satellite.
The Elephant in the room isn’t Space Debris…. It’s Elon’s mental health.
People need to re-render these Superheavy catches based real footage. Now we know that the exhaust fire is considerably more intense.
I hope they use one of the early starships as a greenhouse send it out to the moon orbit ready for them to harvest it.
We’ve heard this song before. Werner and Disney in the late 1950’s. NASA Post (and during) Apollo, giant solar satellites in the early Shuttle era. A blizzard of the same kind of snow from Zuberen and his crew. Oh, a couple of Bushes and an Obama. The resolution goes up, same vapor ware infrastructure. Now, Elon is determined to end his years on the slopes of Olimpus. He might actually pull off a small scale version of this. Even infinite money and resources will still take a generation or more to accomplish something as ambitious and a full blown vacation villa on the Red Planet. 13 year old GPG still loves this stuff and wishes it would really happen. For the record, I was listening to A Fall of Moon Dust on the way home a week ago. I realized I could switch from audio novel to reality. I pulled the audio from NSF pre game in Boca Chica. Reality trumped Sci-Fi that day for sure.
The sci-fi series "UFO" had to clear the earth of orbiting debris to detect invaders.
Glad I subscribed 😊
This was a really good video. I love imagining these things.
I hope they launch a starship for a few orbits, then land at Florida, refuel and hop back to BocaChica.
Any missions to the moon involving starship hls…..are dead. This over complicated nonsense killed it's own future.
Crowded lower orbit? Well tell Musk to stop launching his shit satellite network into space….which has doubled the amount of satellites😂
Promised: the moon two years ago (this was a contract; paid in full with not even the first step accomplished).
Low Earth orbit is still a problem and hand is out for mo' money.
Feel the POWER!
Musk, Musk, MUSK!
The agreed upon terminology in science is aluminium not aluminum, precisely to avoid misunderstandings with people having different names for the same things. Saying aluminum with the intention of being correct is especially in the context of these videos is wrong, do better.
great mission explanation Marcus, the future looks epic
Sad but I have to unsubscribe I can't support Elon musk in any way any more.
Hi Marcus, do you have any comments on Elon Musk's nazi salutes?
"Relentlessness pace of Starship development"? Give me a break. Starship has been in development since 2019; comparatively Saturn had been to the moon by now. Starship is a spectacular feat of engineering but so far it has proven zero useful space capabilities. It's a hard problem for sure, but maybe we should say "steady pace".
Off world resources. The Weyland-Yutani company will rise soon.😮😆😆 Or must I say the Musk-Weyland-Yutani company…. 😥
Man I’d be a space garbage man on a starship crew in orbit 👀
Aluminium don't pander to Yanks Marcus you're too good!!
I can't help but think that we have to get away from Low Earth Orbit and push any space station out further to the permanently stable Lagrange Points (L4 & L5) and establish a tank farm there to refuel rockets for further missions. From there it would be much easier to link up with at least two cyclers between Earth and Mars taking advantage of the momentum spacecraft inherently have by being there (gravity boost).
why go to the moon? because just one asteroid can reset the planet earth back to amoeba level life. and there has been over seven extinction level events in earths history. why go to mars? because we need to colonise as many suitable planets as possible, expansion means evolution.
Hi Marcus. Thanks so much for the years of SpaceX coverage. I really do appreciate it. I can't view any SpaceX coverage any longer as a result of the recent activities of Elon Musk. Thanks for your efforts and all the best.
Do you think there could be repercussions of mining on the moon? I mean it affects our oceans and I presume that is to do with the weight to gravity ratio, if we strip it of material too much could there be issues?
