  1. When Vini, Bellingham and rodrygo play counter attack, they don't care the number of defenders defending . Their placing of the ball and running and the adjustments of which side to run and which side to pass the ball is phenomenal and defenders don't get time to react and settle.

  2. I dont agree with his mentality of creating loads of chances because the most important thing is Quality > Quantity. To get 18 corners and not score a single goal from these is insane. Reals play is more effective, calmer, more calculated and well balanced between attacking and defending, and it is pure quality and the chances are really dangerous. Real can sometimes get 2 chances and score atleast 1 goal. Peps idea is to create 30 chances and maybe we score 3-4 goals and win the game…and thats not how things always work because they also concede 4 goals, they should play more calmer, also focusing on the defense whilst focusing on quality attacks, not just attack for the sake of it. City created far more chances than real but the result was 1-1 which is ironic.

  3. We isn’t anyone saying what really, really, really happened? MC huffed, puffed and RM was steadfast. The shock and awe team of the PL was not able to break down RM. In the end it doesn’t matter what any pundit or fan says. The teams were evenly matched in Spain and evenly matched in Manchester and in the 50/50 chance game of penalties MC lost. It is that simple.

  4. Madrid was better defensively than City rather city was better in attacking and holding the ball just weren't able to convert their chances with Lunin's goalkeeping brilliance. My take on the game. Sorry Pep.

  5. Sell Halaand and Grealish! Buy Olmo and Gnabry = very easy upgrade!

I could also go for Isak and Rodrygo but I cannot vouch for their availability or the financial feasibility of obtaining them.

  6. It's lamentable to see how some teams resort to cowardly tactics, like diving to waste time, relying solely on a miracle during penalties to survive. They couldn't replicate their performance at the Bernabéu. Pochettino withdrew his two attacking references to play defensively, which is shameful. In the end, this is football, but it's sad that some forget the honor and courage that Madridismo is supposed to represent. A real pity.

  7. They didn’t defend themselves better than Real as Guardiola mentioned here.

Real Madrid defended much better because they didn’t received more than a goal from dozens of chances.

Manchester City received 1 goal out of 3 chances.
