  1. Wow, I have to say I found the creation of this video really daunting as I feared Lucius the Eternal was simply a one sided character. Very glad to be proven wrong and able to shine some light on Saul Tarvitz, the contrast to Lucius and what the Emperor's Children became. As some may have seen in the intro I am finally creating a Patreon page soon, after much encouragement from many of my fellow Youtubers. I can't wait to show you all!

  2. Saul truly reached perfection and threw off the shackles his father had cruelly placed upon him while proclaiming that they were the very wings to help him rise to perfection.. Lucius on the other hand finally devolved completely and became nothing more than a slavering beast cursed to live for eternity as a slave to a god that cares not a whit about perfection but only to drink in the endless energies of excess until growing disgustingly fat like a plump mosquito on the verge of bursting.

  3. Dude….I was a fan of sannax (dunno if I spelled it right) up until I realized he was literally the "while you were having sex, I studied the blade" meme. Haven't finished it yet, but I hope lucius kills him now

  4. I actually find Lucius's story to be tragic because the only way he would find peace of death is to be slain by someone who truly loves him yet he has ensured that no one could do so

    Simply put I pity him

  5. I have a few questions regarding Saul Tarvitz especially since I have read Horus Rising, False Gods, Galaxy In Flames, Flight of the Eisenstein and Fulgrim, he was mentioned in all these novels that I read.

In the novels Horus Rising and False Gods Saul Tarvitz is a Captain of an unknown Company

In Fulgrim Saul Tarvitz is the Captain of the 10th Company

In the novels Galaxy in Flames and Flight of the Eisenstein he is the Captain of the 1st Company.
In Flight of the Eisenstein Saul called out to Garro on the Vengeful Spirit post counsel. Garro didn't realize Saul was the Astartes in the ornate suit of Terminator Armour until he saw the eagle he etched into Saul's vambrace / gorget (can't entirely remember) where but it definitely was mentioned.

I can't remember whether Saul Tarvitz accompanies Eidolon to the Vengeful Spirit in the novels Fulgrim and Galaxy in Flames but I know that he did in Flight of the Eisenstein because he had a friendly conversation with his mate Garro, both of whom served alongside each other on prior occasions in joint Legion operations.

There's a few things that tie in between the novels is that Tarvitz is suspicious in regards to deployment of Emperor's Children Legionaries to Istvaan 3, he goes to Ancient Rylanor and asks to remain aboard the Andronius instead of taking the honour of being at the spearhead in the first wave on the Choral City.
